Hi ICM, I am just cutting down some Jack Herers and a PurePowerPlant x purple today, unfortuenaly they could have gone another week or so, but up in the mountains it gets cold, and it has been around 32 farenhiet every night and is only getting colder, i still have a few blue dreams ( blueberry x haze), a Querkle, a cherry pez and a Sour bubble outside, but they have at keast 3 or 4 weeks left, but im gonna let them stay out there ( crossing fingers , praying they live, cause this is medicine for me)

I was wondering if you expert on the subject can reccomend a strain that will mature completely by sept 15th outdoors. I am in Norcal about 3500' in between Chico and Reno. thanks all for the advice. peace

Hi Blunted, for sure there are many strains to choose.
For the mountains I'd most recommend some Afghan.
I cannot recommend Bluehemp seeds enough.

Also Look for some das (Double Afghan Slam, an old Reeferman strain).
To be honest the das is probably the earliest,
most resinous bomb strain I have grown!
But if you can't get hold of that look for Triple Afghan slam,
Which looks equally good from what I've seen.

But anyway definitely check out bluehemp I would especially
recommend the Lebanese.

I've heard mighty mite id very early finishing in august but its a auto-flowering plant from what i can gather,passion#1 and biddy early finishes late sept at 55*N so may finish earlier were you are.
I've got bluehemps dark kush for next years outdoor project but i've noticed they've changed the description from pure indica landrace to indica/sativa which has pissed me off a little as i wanted a pure indica.

the lebanese is not a very fantastic smoke for me, too basic

thanks all, and silver back, good advice...i checked out the strain guide...great info. I know i should have said end of sept, the 15th is pushing it...i am an idoca fan all the wy...i will post up on what i choose for next year, luckily i just got some hashberry x kalichakra from a guy on here and i still have 100 beans each of kali mist, nycd, and super silver haze...they were gifts from peeps on here so i know they are prob f2's...wouldnt mind finding a nice indica leaning pheno of the ssh...none of those beans are less than sativa dominant, but im keeping my fingers crossed..

i was looking for a nice stable, and pest resistant strain from a true breeder i.e. chimera, dj and the countless others on IC, the Calizhar looks BOMb and the lineage seems very impressive

thanks again for the advice...il check out the bluehemp gear too
