we have had heavy rain followed by hurricane winds here for almost 2 days now.
rain makes the plants heavy and storm tips them over, not the best canna weather combo

img0260kw5.jpg

img0261db7.jpg

all the tall girls are more or less lying down.
Very lucky as ive only had a singel of them breaking the actual stem.
most just lost branches.

img0267xql2.jpg

here has first aid been performed on one of the few that actually broke

img0276xct0.jpg

i dont only have cannabis in my garden, but from more than 200 seeds of corn, pees and tomatoes sown heres a few that came up
my conclusion:
i suck at growing legal crops :)

heres the garden after plants had a little help getting vertical again:
img0271or4.jpg

img0273ru7.jpg

img0277dz3.jpg

the Fat Russians didnt have any damage but they are also small and a lot behind in growth cause they where planted late:
img0274xtr7.jpg

img0275xsp7.jpg

inspecting plants revealed that i had some starting mold on some of those that had been moved from indoor and out later and had gone back to growth.
its the parts already degrading from being into flower that had died and started molding.

img0268xpy1.jpg

before

img0270xny0.jpg

and after manicure
the attacked spots will be sprayed later with Atamon a non toxic product used here to conserv jelly etc.
it contains natrium benzoat and is very effective against mold and fungi.

now all the plants just have to adjust to being vertical again.
im happy it doesnt seem like much harm was done by the rain and stormy weather

Tnx for the cheer up Esbe :)

Yes so far Thyphoon in corn has been a pleasant surprise along with the Oldfarmer Nepal in the garden.

Royal Dane has been a little disappointing this year.

Later flowering from what i expected and both in garden and in corn the growth has also disappointed compared to the other strains im growing this year

heres my garden from yesterday

tallest plants are not Leb27xBubblegum x Erdpurt
its 235 cm or so now but a have a Big Bud that is apr 245 cm now
biggest Oldfarmer Nepal was 230+ cm when she suddenly broke her stem :(

img0281po1.jpg

img0282js1.jpg

img0283xfz9.jpg

Afghans tied down a little to give higher yield and more light to the Hindu Kush x Leb27 and the 2 Big Buds in the next row

img0284pf8.jpg

Tied down afghans in front and be the fence its the huge Big Bud

img0285hv2.jpg

also tied a few Oldfarmer Nepal down to increase yield and give more light to other plants

img0286xok1.jpg

Oldfarmer Nepal #Early pheno
this one is really nice.
earliest plant to flower in the garden and looks like a nice yielder for its size.
i hope its potency will match its growths.

img0287xue6.jpg

Leb27xHindu kush x ErdPurT
still very tall 235 but not the tallest lady in the garden any more.
an exploding Bid Bud has taken the lead being 245 cm by now and its not even started flowering!

img0288qk3.jpg

disaster!
the biggest and highest yielding ON has broken down in the wind
ive given her first aid thigh up and hopes she survives

img0289ia4.jpg

tied down ON in a sea of green

img0290xmd7.jpg

Marijuanamatt/crazy X seed's Fat Russian ( White Russian x Chronic)

img0291xsx6.jpg

no sign of flower yet but its ok as i haven't had time to clone them yet.

img0292xks7.jpg

Danish Passion flowering

img0293xpe6.jpg

Royal Dane in flower for a few weeks
A little disappointing as i had hoped it would be further into flowering by now.

img0294wr2.jpg

RD up close

img0295tm0.jpg

img0296wq1.jpg

img0297wa8.jpg

my new 4 part micro grow room is far from finished but ive moved the surviving clones from Gunnars Lab into the first little room where they just seem to love the 250 watt MH.
they will be transplanted into larger pots very soon.
Still using the "simple hydro method" ( perlite in pots in a water tray).

last night i was out on guerrilla "mission", inspecting my guerrilla spots with Royal danes, Leb27, Thyphoon and Royal danes and Erocket x Danish passion f2.
no time to post them now but they will be posted very soon so stay tuned

heres a little teaser though from Fields Of Lebanese
Leb27 in the corn

stay safe and green and keep growing!

for you my freind ill always perform magic if need.
here you go

Now for Children of the corn

First spot i visited was Field Of Danes ( Royal Dane - 2 spots in same field)

img0298xga6.jpg

Slow growth mostly due to them being in small pots for long and planted out late but i also did a mistake on using slow releasing fertilizer pellets and the weather.
Massive rain here recently released to much fertilizer at once so most plants suffer from being over ferted.
also RD and Danish passion are later this year than normal for some reason?

img0299xev4.jpg

RD in spot 2
img0302xpe2.jpg

img0303xei4.jpg

in spot 2 many of the plants had been topped by some stupid dope eating animal :(
but at least its not as bad as one year back in the high school days when i had deers chewing up an entire plot.

Field of Danes and Rockets ( Royal dane and ErocketxDanish passion f2)

img0316gn7.jpg

Left Royal Danes.
Right Erocket x Danish passion
Im removing all the RD males for a cross with RD as mother and ERxDP as father.
might also result in some ERxDP f3 but im not the ERxDP will finish in the corn as the females didnt start flowering very long ago ( keeping my fingers crossed though)

i was also at the Afghan forest spot a few days ago.
disappointing growth and no sign of sex ( no pix)

in the next few days i have to inspect

Field of Rockets ( Erocket x danish passion f2)
Field of Passion ( Danish passion)
Field of Earliness ( Early Dane by Gonzo)

i also have some Guerrilla Stick by Gonzo at a freind so stay tuned for updates

Lovely stuff Gunnar, take care when visiting corn, use a pushbike if you can, farmers will take down number plate details if they see empty car parked on their land.

Tnx for the advice Farmaz

yes security is a main concern here.

i only use corn fields that borders to a public road and only visit them at night ( has lost some sleep on that behalf but i hope the harvest is going to be worth it)
if theres nearby houses i take extra care not having the flash seen.

normally i park by the roadside and have the spots something like 20 rows into the field.
If a car should stop im not further away than i can hear it and be out with some excuse ( im peeing etc) but havent happened yet.

theres one spot i planted in darkness that in daytime turned out to be very close to a house i couldnt see in the dark.

next time i visited that one i took extra care as i could hear both a dog barking and a donkey!

next year i plan a much earlier and bigger corn grow.

Im going to use fewer fields and larger plots with few strains.

going to pay more attention to nearby houses and farms so i have a change of visiting in daytime also and not having to have paranoia about waking them or their animals up when visiting the plots in the middle of the night.

Looks to me like you are really enjoying your self G! Wish I could grow like that in my yard. The corn sites would get picked off in my area......or maybe not. Looks cool regardless!

im without camera atm but i should get camera again after the weekend or maybe sooner.
here and update without pix

a few days ago i harvested Early Dane and Guerrilla Stick from Gonzo
GS doesn't have many visible trics and dont seem very sticky but its early ( i harvested late they could have been harvested before)
Early Dane on the other hand seem very sticky and potent
on the small trip home in the car it was stinky as hell and it was in a plastic bag.
i was happy i wasnt pulled over by cops or they would for sure have noticed the smell and searched the car.

i just got home from another nightly harvest "mission".
in the cover of darkness and by using a flashlight as little as possible i harvested the Royal Dane and Thyphoon spots.

to many big plants for plastic bag so i just filled the back of the car and prayed for not getting stopped by cops on the way back

even from the limited use of light i wasn't in doubt that they where both sticky and good yielding..... and stinky!

all the corn grows are seeds grows this year so ill only be trimming the largest leaves off and make hash from them when having secured the seeds.

Thyphoon seem to be the biggest yielder when it comes to yield from each plant

ill have to inspect them further in daylight but so far i seem very satisfied with the harvest compared to the effort.

tnx for all the kind comments
heres some updates from recent time

for this update i have to use a a very crappy cellphone cam but i hope to get a better one very soon.
thought it would be better to post some pix with a crappy cam, than none at all in this important period

photo0001wm0.jpg

photo0002on0.jpg

photo0003ri0.jpg

photo0004qs7.jpg

overview from the garden.
might be hard to see here from the crappy quality but its exploding and heres a really nice smell :)

photo0005hz2.jpg

Guerrilla Stick by Gonzo
the plants are done but some seeds need a little maturing.
GS was given to some i know but he panicked and i had to move them in a rush to save the seeds.
GS is early but judging from the amount of visible trichomes, its not far as potent as the Early Dane also by Gonzo

photo0006fg5.jpg

photo0007fq6.jpg

I have had mold on most of the plants in my garden.
Some more than others but none from the 3 Afghans
heres the little late Afghan purple pheno

photo0008fs7.jpg

photo0009ku3.jpg

photo0010go7.jpg

photo0011hq4.jpg

Healthy and sticky Afghans green pheno
they are about 4-5 weeks into flower

photo0012sa6.jpg

photo0013vo8.jpg

my only Danish Passion in my own garden ( have a DP seed grow out in the corn though)
a little mold and its a small plant ( compared to some of the other monsters) medium yield but its some sticky trichome filled little plant

photo0014tb5.jpg

photo0015iq5.jpg

Hindu Kush x Leb27
one big monster that seems to also have nice trichome coveridge
im hoping to hit the one pound mark with this one :)
Only time will tell

photo0016nw4.jpg

photo0017na0.jpg

Big Bud's
These 2 monsters are the tallest ladies in the garden
one just above 3 meters/15 foot
the other just below
the "smaller" one is apr 3-4 weeks into flower
the other one one week less.

photo0018aw4.jpg

Royal Dane
to my surprise they have been later this year than expected, also have some mold problems with this one though its suppose to be very resistant

photo0019dp7.jpg

RD with mold

photo0020pp6.jpg

more RD mold GRRRRRRRRR

photo0022qp6.jpg

Oldfarmer Nepal close to harvest but giving it a bit more to mature seeds
this have had the largest leaves trimmed away
giving more lights to the buds
i only do this when theres a few weeks left
otherwise the plant wont be able to transport enough water up to the buds

photo0023us9.jpg

Leb27xBubblegum x ErdPurT
have 3 of those
this one is the semi purple pheno tied down
had 3 diffrent phenoes of this cross
one other was very crappy with fluffy buds that molded away almost from the start ( already harvested that one).
this one above and one that is more purple
a little later but seems nice yielding

photo0024ae1.jpg

O nepal geurrilla pheno
nice looking one with a low profile and high yield for its xmas shaped size
unfortunately it has had much mold.

photo0025sb6.jpg

another O nepal pheno
this one is a little later compared to the other ones but its the one with highest trichome cover

photo0028il1.jpg

Hazed Erdpurt

photo0029ww1.jpg

Erocket x Danish passion f2 with fan leaves trimmed

photo0030ff3.jpg

photo0032fx1.jpg

photo0033mw7.jpg

photo0034li7.jpg

this one is a self seeded plant from last year with unknown origin ( other than Gunnars outdoor 07)
a little stretchy and medium yielder but very nice trichome cover!

photo0035lv6.jpg

RD self topped with multiple buds
sticky and really nice smelling

photo0036va9.jpg

photo0037yv4.jpg

Hazed Erdpurt with multiple tops

photo0038ok4.jpg

photo0043zm9.jpg

2 buckets full of Royal Danes and Thyphoons harvested at night at the corn spots.
whole lotta trimming ahead hehe

photo0044ae6.jpg

Beautiful plants you got there.

I'm thinking of growing in cornfields with guerrilla gold seeds. There's a huge dairy corn farms near here.

I wonder which fields I should look out for? 20 rows into the field sounds too close to me lol. I'm expecting like 50-100 rows into the field.
