hey ICmag folk...Ive started using Coco full time as of bout 2 sets back..This would be my 3rd set in coco and its a very impressive medium..
Atm I star either seed or cuts off in peat/seed or bubble cloner for cuts and then trans to coco..Ive got about 20 varieties running atm and its a mix of old moms, cuts and seed starts..Hope ya enjoy it..

FBerry is a hybrid of a older sweet midland Afghan and a old mid 90's BBerry..The effect is wide and not like many herbs out there..

Heres a bit of all of it and a lil feed info...I feed 2-3 x the flush 1x....Low feed levels makes build up less...
sprouts / young cuts - 80-150ppm/5.6
Young plants / sm Moms - 200-300ppm/5.6
Lg Moms / Flipped - 300-400ppm/5.6
Early / Mid Bloom - 350-400ppm/5.6
Late Bloom-Pre Flush - 300-350ppm/5,6
Flush 0ppm - 2-4wks...
For Macros and a few micros usin PBPro Grow/SoilBloom/LKarma/HydroG/Sweet/SilicaBst

hey StonedTeacher what I have is the #2Excalibur DF pheno type.. Smells like Frankincense and pure raw Sage with G13 up in it..heh...The only way to decipher the phenos its to know the others well enough..YOu see the #2 is similar to #1 and #3 where I know Herijuana well enough to know the #4 phenom and Ive nt come across a fruity Pheno at all so #5 hasn't shown in the stock Im using atm...I have stock from 2 impeccable sources tho and that helps allot....Heres the breakdown for ya man...
Dutch Flowers
Blowfish = G13 x OregeonFunk x BlueDot..
G13 - we know what this is..heh..(or do we?..to me its a Fake Plastic tree )
OregFunk = Oregon Purple Thai/Haze <-- not sure on this...

It seems like that if you'd watched them all grow a couple of times, it would be easy to identify clones in flower and thus a mother could be re-identified.

hey Hazy...danke and out of all of it I gata say ESky was the most disappointing..Its a major pheno hunt and even tho I went fo he Grenadine phenom and kept it as Cherry/sweet as I could find it just comes out commercial Citrus..I only had a 5pk to work with and ran um out..They look very good growing but no luv on the back side..Ive got 1 in flower now that I started from cut right to 12/12 and its quite loose for a flipped clone..Just not happy at all with the strain sad to say..Ive seen other grows that look great and very dense Indica..What I get is a Indica form and loose super Sat fluffy buds and thats even trying it at 3 different flower windows...

Confed....tobaaaac is right on...You become familiar with a form, smell, look and speed of a strain..But Im also good at keeping up with things and name tags are a must even tho you may not see them in every pic, their there...What gets tricky is a variety from 2 breeders like DF and 3lbs where I have Blowfish from both...That can be a challenge to keep inline..
Also I only run 2-5 beans of a variety at a time..Instead of populations of 10 or 20 just cause I feel I can tend to a lower no# of plants in a variety even tho I run many types of plants..Its also a great way to learn about oow each variety is effected differently by method and style..

So I read in your Attack of the Killer BB'zzz thread that you prefer the compressed long-fibered Botanicare coco to the B'cuzz coffee-ground coco. That's interesting, because I've been messing with the compressed stuff for a few weeks and was thinking of upgrading to the B'cuzz for my drip system. But now, you have me rethinking the cheaper route. And you're right about the powdered coco being a tad heavy.

gratzi NoFx...i remember that band..like a punk-ska type thang..hmm maybe that was NoEfx?..heh..

Marquis yea bro..it matters tho..I use PBP so its mostly organic or bio-organic which is what I'd say is mostly organic but mildly concentrated..With other synth chems like salts/AN or GH its a diff story..I dont mind the Bcuzz but since I use PBP which is a bit rich heavy in N and K it takes lil more work to keep um in check..
In the more fibrous Bot bales its not rich or inoculated either and is just a inert raw medium..the Bcuzz has richness to it like a soil..I dont hate it but do like more air avail to root zones and the finer ground treated stuff compacts n locks up n same ole..I shoulda put perlite in there to as my next mix after these coco runs if Im stuck using Bcuzz will be a 1.Soil/2.Coco/1.Castings/1.perlite D2W syst...I'd do similar if I can get the Bot bails but just dbl the soil n castings..
