Flushing Question regarding water.

For flushing the plants... does the water have to be at a certain PH?

or can I just use good ol fashion Hose Water?

I saw a simliar question posted elsewhere.... basically its a matter of preferance.

I prefer to PH my flush to 6.0... I don't think it cost that much extra to make sure your water PH is similiar to the PH of the solution when you fed them. Keeps the plants from being shocked and going "shit dude that is some hot fucking water!".

Its all a matter of preference...

There was a debate on this a while back. Had some interesting posts. One consenus was that the plant cant use its stored nutes unless the PH was in the proper range, just like in normal feeding. And the whole point of flushing, is to make the plant use up its nutes.

One poster apparently contacted some nute manufacturers and got different answers.

Other people think its pointless

I PH the water whenever flushing. Like already said, how much does PH cost?

Let's see. At an average of .3ml per gallon and 1000ml per bottle, that's 3,333.33 doses per bottle for $12. Which gives us .36¢ per gallon of water adjusted.

Good Lord, one third of a penny? That can't be right ... figure, figure, carry the toe ... Damn! This stuff's cheap.

If you PH adjusting your water then you are adding chemicals and not doing a complete flush:) For what it is worth, I flush for two weeks adding only Pure Blend Organic Bloom to the water and then straight water for the last two weeks. Note: I do have the advantage of my own 'Well Water' that is untreated by the city and fairly neutral:)

Cheers
