Humboldt County-- The Movie

I'm watching Humboldt County--a movie that just Premiered today on the HDMovie Channel. It has Peter Bogdanovich in it. Here is a synopsis from IMDB:

Peter is a medical student about to graduate and begin his residency. When his professor fails him, he winds up in bed with an actress and singer named Bogart rolling through Los Angeles. He accompanies her to the northern most tip of California, where he encounters her eccentric family of pot farmers. But when Bogart runs away without a word, Peter is thrust into the picturesque and bizarre world that is Humboldt County.

It's really well done. Thought everyone here might find this movie very interesting--it's about 'guerilla growers'. Most people here would identify with them.

as soon as i saw the title i was like hell yeah, then i turned it on and was disapointed. i thought it was a documentary.

decent watch, mainly a character study that didn't go deep enough into the characters.. the MJ culture was little more than a setting, but made the movie watchable. Good music too.
Fairuza Balk prancing about naked would have improved the situation as well.

With the exception of some of the scenery, nothing like Humboldt County.
Mildly watchable with good music.
