Great plants and a nice thread Hazeseeker

NL5xH is one of my alltime faves, I hope your cross comes out well, it should....

I had Strawberry Diesel x Cheese, nice but not standout or interesting enough to keep.

I have 2 Cheesewrecks [Sargarmatha] just starting to finish outdoor, but no idea of the smoke..... yet....

Cheese x Kali Mist is really nice, distinctive and at 55 days indoor, had a lot of Kali insanity in the strong buzz and tastewise Cheesey skunkiness to battle the Hazey woodiness into a really nice distinctive creamy smoke. I think NL5xH is going to be fairly similar to the Kali Mist and will be really interested to see how this develops.

I have also got some Cheese x Recon going as 4 of 6 pips turned out male, so decided to use a small clone to make a few seeds to check out.

Best of luck, I hope this is ging to be your entry in the 420 Cup '09 .... :yummy:

Hi Primo,
yeah going with the MH for the first 14 days of flowering man, hopefully this will keep the stretch to a minimum, plants are all starting to show which sex they are now, so far i've spotted 2 definate Females, and at least 4 or 5 males (1 male has already been binned, it was that short plant that had leaf probs, got rid of it as it was a slow grower, looked in poor health overall so didn't wanna use him to cross to the Uk Cheese), 2 of the definate Males are standing out strong, nice structure, strong branching, great vigour, aged pine aroma, plus each of them are looking different which is good, alot of options to pick + choose from :joint:

Day 6 of 12/12

Day 6 of 12/12

Managed to take a few photos of a couple of Males tonight, this 1st 1 has really strong and thick side branching as well as a strong Pine aroma (could be a good choice due to the Cheese having weak branches), really like the look and the aroma of this 1 so far, out of all the plants i'm almost 100% sure there is 3 Females and 5 Males, i've got a feeling the Male that will be used will either be the 1 shown in this post or possibly the 1 in the next post :joint:

This Male like the last 1 smells really good, slightly different it's like a spicy pine aroma, a little more sativa in appearance than the last male, strong and simmetrical side branching although not as strong as the last 1, this plant has an extremely sticky main stalk as well

plant is approx 23 inches (1 foot 11 inches) tall

Day 6 of 12/12

UK Cheese

I've taken 6 clones off this girl in the last 10 days, the canopy has a nice even(ish) look to it now, alot better then before, the clone is due to get another dosage of Trichoderma Powder the next watering (probably tomorrow or Sunday), still not recieved any nutes yet as the compost i'm using i've since found out is slightly different from the last Special Mix i used, very volatile stuff, full of nutes almost to and in excess:joint:

Day 7 of 12/12

Day 7 of 12/12

Hi Rick,
yeah i'm looking forward to seeing which phenos there's gonna be as well, the last time i grew NL5/H i only had 1 plant/female so i can't wait to see which phenos these may be, i hope i find that pheno i was speaking to you about - spicy pine, musky type haze through and through :joint:
Hi Whatever,
cheers man, moving along smoothly at the minute thankfully, i'm praying 1 of these males turns into a winner, i guess i won't know for sure till the offspring are grown out tho :joint:
Hi LLP,
thanks man, i think it's just gonna be a lucky guess choosing which male to use, i know it's gonna a choice between 2 that are standing head and shoulders (based on look, structure, smell, stickiness of stem, those 2 are pretty much on par on these areas and both different looking phenos, once the pollen sacks start appearing more i'm gonna take the 'Chosen One', 'Stallion', 'Raoul' (male plant) out of there and put him under flouros (don't have a 2nd HPS unfortunately), hopefully those flouros will be enough light so he can continue flowering till pollen collection?

love that pic I'm an upskirt fan lol. This sounds like a very nice cross I used to grow Sensi's NL x haze back in the mid 90's and it was the best stuff I had ever smoked back then! Smoked some Cheese at the weekend and now think thats the nicest I've ever toked on so this cross sounds formidable! Lovely healthy plants! Good luck.:)
