Anti-mold tip.....

I have noticed a substantial benefit by removing ALL dead or NEAR DEAD or YELLOWED leaf.
As this stuff rots, the mold travels right into the bud via the leaf stem!!!
Also I remove tons of "extra" leaf as this blocks air flow, and speed up stored nute consumption as there is now less.
I live in an EXTREMELY humid climate, and must take ALL POSSIBLE measures to fight this shit!
Also tried an experiment on some remaining buds.
Used some EJ Ph. UP(potassium bi-carbonate, like Greencure) and a drop of jet-dry to spray on buds and leaves. This should have been done for the first time about four weeks into flowering, but I didin't think about it then.
Went back next day and it didin't kill them!
Has been a MISERABLE week :badday: , if what's left hasn't rotted to nothing, the spray has certainly worked.
I shall report my findings.

Most of my plants have showed mold. Ive spent quite some time cutting the mold of the branches. Out of the next 10 days, 7 days are supposed to be rainy. I quite nervous as i havent taken any measures to prevent mold. Might end up chopping early :badday:

I have noticed the very same thing in regard to dead plant material. This year i went out to one of my plots because it had been raining for two days straight. I clipped off all of the dead material and large fan leaves. Then two days later when the rain stopped i went back and sprayed with neem oil. To my suprise not a hint of mold. I have never had even close to this much rain(14 inches in a week) this late in the year without significant mold. I believe the #1 way to prevent mold is to get all dead and decaying plant matter off as soon as possible.

I agree with that... also noticed once when i went to check the plants that there were small dead leaves that fell off and got stuck to the bud... and that caused the mold to appear all around the dead material.....
Never noticed this when the weather is dry.. have anyone ever had mold because of dead leaves/material but with a dry weather???

I can back that up too...just checked on my budding girls after 2-3 days rain and they had quite a few dead brown small fan leaves. As I was pulling these off I noticed very small brown patches around where they had been. Had to take these off too.
Dead semi-rotting plant material is a magnet for mold! Remove with extreme prejudice.
