Live bugs in the bud

Im sure this happens to many of you as you run your operations outdoors. I recently cut down a couple buds of all my plants to examine the development in the crystal. So far it looks nice and clear ill probably wait around 7 days to cut it. But what shocked me is the bug i saw crawling around when i was looking at the crystals. Gross. Is this a typical?

Like i dont mind having one or two of those bugs, but if im yeilding like a pound then i do not want hundreds.... From the quick 3 seconds i saw it, it pretty much looked like it was clear. Yes a clear bug that was reflecting the colour of the buds. Any ideas?

I plan on at least freezing my bud for an hour or two before i trim and dry it out. Ill smoke the suckers just as long as its not moving around.

snap crackle and pop!!!

first off why would u freeze your buds?

and to answer your question those flying translucent looking bugs are harmless, caterpillars are a different story

goddamned caterpillars there killin' me this year, but ya I would bet the clear bugs you speak of are aphids, and they dont do much, and as for it being gross I used to bike out to my guerilla spot and I swear somtimes I would actually choke on these tiny little flying bugs, so I say smokem out!

ok well i will definately have to consider that...but does any1 oppose the freezing the bud idea to kill them? i just took some bud out after 4 hours and man does it smell good.. i wish i had a nice camera to take some macs my iphone takes bad pics..

I really, really would not freeze your bud before it's dry. When it thaws out, it's gonna turn to mush...

15 mins in the freezer is usually enough. it won't freeze the greenery but most bugs will drop off very quickly...put the flowers on a sheet of newspaper then into the freezer for no more than 15 mimutes...pull the flowers out and gently shake over the paper to loosen any cling-ons. but the last thing you want to have is frozen bud...imnsho

good luck

If you freeze your weed the crystals will also fall off very easy when frozen.
Hang dry your budz and you will see most of these bugs disappear.
I freeze my sugar leaf I trim from the budz and make keefe making the crytals easy to remove from the bud...
