I accidentally snapped the top half of my prized Sweettooth/Blockhead plant while it's in it's 5th week of flowering. It seems too big and pretty to toss. What do I do now?. I already put the main stem in a jug of water that has some superthrive and pure blend bloom in it. Any Ideas on what I should do now guys?

You've done all you can as far as I know! Like a cut flower, you may want to cut a bit from the end of the stem every few days to keep it sucking up the water. Be sure to change the water every day to minimize bacteria growth. The water should be room temperature, not straight from the tap.

The good news- The side stem buds on your plant should start growing rapidly since the main bud is now gone. The top bud puts out a chemical that slows the side branches (auxin? been too long since I took botany!) The side buds are usually less mature than the top bud, so add a week or so to the harvest. The shock may add a few days to the maturation time, but you can live with that.

Also "young" pot tends to be a more "up" high, than fully mature buds. Keep her going as long as you can and just enjoy the early mini-harvest, which should hold you those extra days until harvest!

I like to top and LST my plants, weighting the stem to make it grow horizontally. This makes the side stems (which would have made popcorn buds) "think" that they could be top bud! I usually end up with 6 to 8 decent-sized buds from each plant, rather than one huge bud with a mess of "popcorn". I get more, but less spectacular looking, buds this way. Takes a bit of time, but it's worth it, for the larger harvest!

I 2nd everything Storm Crow said. The only thing I could possibly add is that since you now have no roots, foliar feeding may help you squeeze a little more bud out of her.

you have the part that broke off in a nute solution?

I would just use water, its dying, why load it with nutes?
