Shouldn't be a problem if you use sufficient ventilation. In a similar setup I have seen, a 257 cfm fan could be run at half power and still kept the cab in the high 70's.
thanks for the reply, i went with a 250w instead just to be safe, and the 250 has 62watts per sq ft, and since after 50watts per sq ft you dont get much more of a difference the 400 would of been alittle much
I was thinking of going with a Lumatek but decided to give the generic brand a try. Owned 2 Lumatek's in the past and never anything but great things to say, but being on a tight budget I decided to save $50 for now on a 400w mom light.
but it is a little much, I will probably never reach 1 g/w being this overlit, and I do get a little bleaching if the girls get too close, but at least you know you have enough light! My problem is that if I buy a 250 now, I will have this 400 laying around and temptation will be irresistable and instead of my current 600ish grow I will have a 850ish grow at which point I might as well buy a 1000w and close off a closet....and so on, and that's why I can't buy a 250.
