Has anyone in here used Monkey Juice and CANNA A/B? I have read many of you saying to use Canna Cocco A/B. When I went to their site, they suggest also useing Moneky Juice. Any comments on this?

No idea what that's about unless Canna just bought out Monkey Juice hehe. I use Canna A+B with PK13/14 in flower with great results in yield, quality and flavor. I won't be buying anything else unless something really convincing or really simple comes along to change my mind.

Here is what I read on the Canna Site.

Canna Coco is an environmentally friendly fertilizer which fulfills the growth requirements of plants grown in hydroponics environments. Canna Coco is an organic product made from the refined husks of coconuts. It is free of chemical additives and provides a growing medium free of viruses and soil diseases. Canna Coco is available in fine flakes and is very easy to use.

• Helps in supplying ample amount of oxygen to plants.
• Contains natural plant boosters and is free of germs and diseases.
• Should be used with a Coco coir nutrient like Monkey Juice for the best effect.
• Promotes healthy growth and blooming in hydroponics plants.

Ok, so they now suggest you use Monkey Juice over Canna A+B?? Lol, maybe the Monkey crew hacked the Canna site and changed the suggestions up a bit. I gotta go see this firsthand.

I can't find anything like that in the Canna UK site, so you have a link? Here is what i found under the Coco product guide for nutes: Effortless cultivation
All the nutrient elements for the growing and flowering phase are present in CANNA COCO A&B . Due to the unique buffering capability of the CANNA COCO substrate, and its sponge-like structure, the nutrients needed to ensure high yields are stored in the coco. This means that the plant itself can regulate the amount and timing of its nutrient intake.

My bad, it is a third party site that is selling it, I think.

I guess I can leave out the Moneky Juice then. :bashhead: Sounds like another Salesman is trying to get me to buy more products then I really need.
As I said before, I have been useing Iguanna Juice and Mother Earths Tea. Has anyone else every tried this? Seems to be working pretty good really, but after reading all the people here talking about Canna CoCo A/B I will be switching soon.

So I can not attach Photos yet, I take it. How many post until I can. I moved here from another site. This site here has way more knowledgeable members, especially when it comes to CoCo.

I have been reading more on CoCo, and am getting confused. I have read where people say not to use Airstones in the res. Hmmmmm I have always used AirStones. Is this true with the Canna CoCo line or just with the additives? My system is a Drain to waste. I am useing 3 gallon grow bags, my plants were vegged for 10 days, and they are under a 1,000 watt HPS light. Wish I could show pictures.

Thanks for the link. I was looking at my beautiful ladies going "huh?"

I am ebb n flow/recirc (2x40g rez) running all canna (+some botanicare calmag & sweet). I have 2 airstones in each res. Been doing it for 9mos now - no problems.

Maybe you need 50 posts to add pics?

edit: those dudes at HO are crazy!

Thanks for the Info GreySkull.

Here is my next question. CoCo can be reused up to three times. But i have heard that if you us Humbolt Counties Gravity that you should never reuse the CoCo because you can not rinse out the gravity and it will Stunt the growth. Is this true or just another B.S. Story?

I'm the one who said that and YES it is true. Not just coco, but any medium.

Alrighty then.. Thanks also... Hmmm. now to figure out if I can foliar spray this stuff.... Argh.. I have never been one to foliar feed my plants. I was always afraid I would screw it up somehow. Is it something that is really benificial? I did add 5 ML of gravity to 5 gallons of nuts I mixed at 30% strength lower then my usually. I gave all 5 gallons of nut soup to my 4 plants that are in 3 gallon grow bags.

So if anyone knows if it is good to Foliar spray with Gravity, please speak up either way. I would like to start reuseing my coco. I have been trashing it everytime.
