Wowza!

Wowza!

Apparently a lot of you appreciate ugly weed. :) hehehe

But I have several more pics I took of this lady, and will take more of a more manicured nature maybe tomorrow... to get a good, clean look at the buds themselves.

One of the awesome issues with Chem D is the weight, which causes the branches to start falling all over at around 35-40 days of flower. Every crop of Chem D reaching 40 days reminds me... buy some damn tomato cages for these things! hehehe You can see how the heads turn downward from the weight of dense flowers.

This plant makes me smile every time I see it. It makes me smile when I water the plants, when I have to stake them up to keep them from breaking themselves, and when I harvest them. During harvest, all you need scissors for is to cut the limbs from the plant... the rest can easily be done by hand. Amazing plant, through and through.

I like this picture... it shows the forefront buds turned downward from the weight of the head, and the background nugs are still upright, proper-like. :)

Thank you all for the warm comments and keen observations, it's much appreciated.

Let me get the questions in order. :) ...

bet it smokes so smooth and clean...pretty tasty as well i assume?
perfectly tapered in regards to ferts, takes intuition and experience to hit the timing right on which CC has plenty of:)

Sure does! Smokes very, very nicely, clean.

Delicious CC!

You got a clone or grow it from seed?
How much seeds you popped? Any hermies?

Outstanding smoke for sure, love it!

Tolpan

From clone. No hermies. She might throw a dud male flower at the end of flower, but nothig ever becomes of it.

Great looking example of CDD there CC. How you been doing? I got about six or seven of those I'm ready to flush tonight. Your absolutely right about the fine taste of CDD after a good flush. She is my favorite plant. Good to see you bro.

What's up Smokes!? Doing good. :) Hope you are too! Your favorite, too! hehehe Good taste, sir.

Perfect, I never thought another strain could hold a candle to OG but this one is better imo because the yield is that much better just an all around bomb plant great job cc. We just ran 8 chemds 8 gcracks and the d out yielded the crack by 7-8 ounces.

I also have some original OG in flower. It's looking really nice, something fierce! hehehe I'll do a thread on it at some point, and an article for the magazine, too. Chem D beats it for yield, that's for sure, but NOTHING beats variety. ;)

Nice CC! we got the same buckets lol!

Bucket brothers? hehehe

Hey CC,
Have to check out the article bro, and you're right, nothing like a good flush and maintaining a proper level of organic nutes for the plant. Makes for a great tasting smoking experience. Never smoked the Chemdog, but heard shes great...Heres a pic of a well flushed DJ Blueberry taken to F6 by our good bud lonestar...seeds circa 01-02...@67 days...Hope ya don't mind...

Peace

That blueberry looks very, VERY nice! Almost chlorophyll-free!!! hehehe Must have tasted superb. :)

That plant looks perfect, I can't imagine the taste! :yummy:

I've seen some perfectly "healthy" green plants at harvest, and they look good, but when a plant is flushed like this it looks so much better. How much maple syrup did you use? That'd be a perfect way to finish my plants off, my state is known for it's maple syrup! :respect:

I'm using about 1 tsp/gallon maple syrup to water.

it looks to be a good yielder. so how does it do in the yield department?? is it like the 91/4?? looks to yield like the 91 and 4

I've never grown a clone with a better average yield, let's put it that way. ;)

This is not Rezdog's version... although Rez used this clone to breed with. She'd do very well in SOG if you ask me. :) Branches all over the place when she gets topped, not too stretchy at all.

its the chemd clone.....im 99.99% sure..

You are correct, sir. :) Chemdog handed me the clone himself, this is the stuff.

This cut is nothing short of amazing. i have done 1 run with her, and cannot wait to get my mom up to size so i can take cuts and run her again. i grew a small plant this time around, only got an oz. but it is PRIZED stash. although CC, i really wish you hadnt brought up the description of her in HT, cuz now i think about that everytime i smell or smoke her!!!!!!(doesnt stop me though!)

Gorgeous pics of the most worthy Chem out there CComposer :)
Definitely looks like an easy postharvest on her - how's the smell, more putrid funky skunky chem or something more soothingly sweet? What a p.i.t.a. about the droopy tops haha but worth the pain in the end I'm certain ;)
subrob - haha I am with you about the hype being for real, if you and all the most greenthumb growers here are claiming it top shelf it's gotta be top shelf! If only I had room and time to run all these great things out there, I would! Enjoy the D, both ya guys - thanks also for the tips on growing her, future reference material...
