So if I wanted to look at my plants at night, could I use a green bulb as to not disrupt the light schedule? I was told that pot plants do not even register green light is this true? :rasta:

The color you "see" any object as (for ex. green with MJ) is the color that it does not absorb from the color spectrum. This means that MJ reflects all or most of the green light that it is hit with. In addition, white things reflect the entire spectrum of light....black things reflect no light.
Hope this was informative.

so it will not disprut the night schedule if you use a basically a green light you can buy from wal mart..? you dont have to buy a special type of green light to do that?

A simple green spectrum light should do it. Correct me if I'm wrong :spank: .

All MJ plants are the same color green?
If they are not the exact same color green as your bulb they are absorbing part of it's spectrum, but it's negligable so i'm just razzin' ya.

True...not all marijuana plants are the same color green...or necessarily green at all (purple?). Which brings up the question....can you use a green light if you have a strain that has turned purple on the fans/buds? Anyone have any experience with this?

This shouldn't even be an issue,if you can't accomodate an uninterrupted 12 hour dark period for your girls you are logistically challenged lol

Well I have a few questions, hope anybody can help me :rasta:

Well i started to grow some sativas and they too big for my growbox, so i moved them on a hall :) but there on the hall you can see some light at night, well not much but some light is there, you need a few seconds to adopt on the light, and then you can see a little bit, but really not much.

Well the biggest problem is that, that I need to go few times through that hall. And I need some light. I have one small LED green light, on GU10 i think. it uses maybe around 1,5 W or something like that. Well when I turn off that light it still shines with about 30% of it's power. so i'm wondering if there can be a problem if this LED GREEN light shiney 24 hours a day? sativas are at 30 days of flowering and about 1,6 m.

is there any rules when is too much light? how much is too much for dark period?
