Has anyone tried the new Ziploc vacuum bags?
I have a vacuum sealer already but I am really thinking about getting these. They allow you to reopen the bag without cutting it and the vacuum pump is battery operated which is huge if you store any of your stash where AC power is not readily available. The bags are reasonable around $4 for ten 1 gal bags and the pump is around $8.
For an outdoor grower who harvests all his stash for the year at once or for the commercial grower who likes to store his product buried somewhere or away from his house I see this a big bonus over the standard vacuum sealer.
I have had my vacuum-sealed bags open up or leak. You go back to grab a bag a weed to find out that the seal has been broken. Before you had to haul it back home or to a place with AC power and cut and reseal hoping there is enough bag left to seal. With the Ziploc bags you can simply fire up the battery operated pump right at your storage sight.
I really see this as they way for the guerrilla to go with the battery operate pump you could vacuum seal everything in the field.
This is all just conjecture and I was wondering if anyone has used them yet. I talked to a friend who seals his veggies in them and he loves them because you can put liquid in them where it was almost impossible with a standard vacuum bag.
PEACE
