when making bubble, does size matter?

what is the best size of the material for extraction? is running it through a grinder into powder better than larger bits?

id say any really large nugs could be broken into smaller chunks but as for reducing trim or source material to powder, DO not do that... i only see increased contamination resulting from that... along with a loss in trichs to smearing during the 'grinding process'
