DIY drip irrigation bucket system

Hello all. yes im a noob on this site. and this is my virgin question. i want to start growing hydro but don't want to spend those ridiculous prices on pre-made drip systems. can someone help me out with a shopping list of everything i would need. and set up instructions. or if someone can post a link on how to do it, im sure there is one online i jus cant seem to find it. thanks in advance tho. keep tokin!!!!

okay let me give you the background info first. i have an entire room dedicated to growing, with an 8' x 8' veg/flower pit, and a closet for my mothers. i have a 55gal reservoir that i want to pump nutes to 100 plants all in 10 x 10 rows in 3gal buckets at a constant drip for each plant, then recirculate back to reservoir. my medium will be rockwool and my lighting situation will be 2400watts both mh/hps and t5 that is 2ft 4bulbs for my mothers and seedlings. i want to create a shopping list, so i want to know what people are using ie: tubing and thier size, emiters, pumps etc. and i also would like to know how my water that drips from the medium is to return to the reservior. also if you thing i need a bigger res. jus inform me. i hope this helped you to help me

3 gallon buckets are 1 foot...... 100 of them in a 10 x 10 would be 4 sets of 25....... 25 = 5 x 5 i hope you dont plan on walking in the room

id go down to 1 or 2 gallon and do 4 x 4 (16 plants) x 4 im guessing the 2400 is 4 x 600?

use
3/4 return line
1/2 feed w/ 1/4 off that per plant
385gph pump will run 32 plants so u will need two
a 55 gallon res is plenty but how tall is it? if its a drum i hope you like to build the buckets need to be above it....

i dont really have my materials yet as im still in the planning stage. but the 3 gal buckets i saw measured approximately 9.5 diameter x 12.57 height (plz correct me if there is no such bucket, saw it online). a water chiller wasnt orginally in the budget but can be placed there. do i need to run water 24/7 in a drip system? is there another water schedule i should go by? as far as the res i can build but if i dont have to im not. the room is bigger than 8' x 8' thats jus the space im using for my plants. i have re thought it tho and i am narrowing my plants down to between 45-48 jus to give em more spacing. and yes you are correct about the lights. thanks for helping btw
