Is any of this salvageable

So I had a bit of a guerilla grow going. Nothing special just bagseed to keep me happy. I had good soil, cattle grazing land loaded with manure from years of cattle and a little extra slow release ferts to keep em going. I kept the visits to a minimum because everything is tall grass and crops so quad tracks show and thats the only way out. I took the necessary visits to kill off the males and did it early in the season and I had seen a few ditch weed plants every now and then around (from way back in the hemp crop days I think) but nothing around my area. Well of course I get pollenated by some scraggly ass nine leaf ditch weed and now I return to see my pretty trichs and find a bunch of seeds! :bashhead: :cuss: :violin: I guess it isn't so bad because I see other people work alot harder to scrap nice pedigree but I was hoping for some free ganja lol. Anyyyways onto my question, from what you see in the pictures there is still a little bit of trichs on the plants, if I was to do an iso wash for hash oil will I yield any results whatsoever?

there's nothing wrong with those plants...they're just seeded. the mother strain is still 100% in the vegetation but the seeds will show traits from the male on the next generation. the only problem you have is now you have to pull out your album cover and clean seeds before toking. they still have a ways to go and will get fatter and more sparklely as they ripen...many believe seeded plants are more potent than sinse because of the added trich's and others believe making seeds takes energy from the buds...i'm with the former. sure seeds are a hassle for the toker but where would we be without them? so don't go feeling bad so soon...maybe those seeds are better than the mother plant? at any rate, pollinating won't affect the genes of the plants in the ground.

Awesome thanks for the good news. I've never heard of anyone preferring seeds but I'm open to the theory, I guess I'll just have to try it out first hand.

went thru a couple seeded batches myself a few years ago. two years in a row i had a short male hiding in the tall weeds surrounding a former garden of mine and had two years worth of seeded stash (grrrr...). but the seeds have made many others happy and the bud tasted the same (as long as a seed didn't get mixed in accidentally...yechh) and it was very stony stuff (c99, neville's haze, blockhead and master kush got pollinated by a c99 male one year and the same strains by a haze male the next...so it wasn't all bad!)

i did better this year...

good luck with yours...

oh, you're just spoiled, jackel. why back in the day, we were happy as hell to get anything besides mexi-brick or commercial columbian (at best) to burn and almost everything had seeds but we'd just open up our double album covers and clean em out...i also walked 5 miles to school.

Make hash, seeded bud sucks because of all the hulls etc, save the nicer calyxes and hash the rest, BHO or ice bags would work great!!

there are 5 plants showing in that pic. they're now at 4.5'+ but would be around 7' if not for being wired down to a series of 4' lathe...in fact most of the upper tier of branches are far larger than the tops! i can only guess at where'd they be if not for being bent and tied but an eyeball guesstimate would be it at least doubled the flowers and there's gonna be a few dozen 14-18" spears...all from getting bent! i'm 100% behind the bending method...can ya tell? and obviously it also reduces its line of sight.

vitex trees/bushes also make for excellent camoflage...

I'm at 42 degrees latitude in the midwest with a general temperature of 50 degrees at night, roughly, when do you think these buds will finish without being frozen?
