Pulling og kush out of crosses!!!!

:jointOk well lets not get this all out of hand or flamed up in here. I know that i am working from crosses(og(sfv)xbluesat2.2) and (og(fire)xthewhite). So this is what i want to do with these crosses. I would like to get a "type of kush" from these crosses. I have a kinda outline for what i want to do so let me share it. Feel free to to jump in and give your .02! I am not a pro, hell i dont even know if i am on the right track but i would like to think this would work to some extent.

Steps to get what i want:

1. Ogxbluesat 2.2(og dom fem) X ogxbluesat2.2(og dom male) F2's correct??

2.Take the most og dominant male of the f2's and cross it with the most og dominant female from my f2's.

3. Next i am "thinking" take the most OG female out of my ogxthewhite beans and cross it with my most dominant og male out of my ogxbluesat 2.2f2's Xogxbluesat2.2f2's. Now after this point for me it really is a toss up as to what to do.


Now i know this is pollen chunking and i am ok with that. I dont expect to get back to the clone only og(fire) or the og(sfv) cut but i would think that there could be a way (with some luck) to get a real kick ass og dominant lady that looks good and smokes well. Hell is that not why we are all on icmag? Thats why i am on this site. So if you have some help for me or can lay out a better plan for me......PLEASE DO!!! So step up and help me out with my mission. But please no your a idiot for trying this and all that crap! Looking for help not a hard time that these og plants can bring!!!

Well I too am an ametuear. But there are a few ways you can do it. First step is making f2s and from there you can either bottle neck, which means crossing a OG dominant female to the OG dominant male and keep selecting for same traits until you basically have it in seed form. Or you can backcross which can even be done after the first process^. When you find that special lady or one close and bakccross your f2 or f3 back to her , instead of each other trying to get one like her. Or you can start over with a cross that resembles more OG...or maybe cross it to something with less dominant traits. I feel like I see the OG in all its crosses so it would be pretty easy.... like I said though I am an amateur and am probably a little off.

Well i would start with something that has more og in it but i have no way of getting them. I will do what you said space ghost! But just for my sake do you think that the plan i have set out would work or should i just let the breeders do the work. I think it would be kinda fun to see what i could get out of the crosses but i for sure would like to do it the right way. This hobby has so many ways to have fun i just want to explore them all. I think you should try to find some OG kush, in the time it takes to do what you want, I am sure someone can get you some OG cuts much quicker.

Love your line "plain ole biker trash"!!!! My dad says the same thing all the time. What do ya ride? Well if i do say so myself i do have some nice crosses. I just want to tinker around and see what i get. After seeing the "Fire" cut and the 818 cut and the abusive cut it makes me kinda want to work on it to see what will come out of it. Hope a nice Og that looks and hits like the real deal. I am sure i would need some luck with the hack breeding that i would be doing so???? Hope it works!

Sam the Skunkman had suggested to self the f1s (I think that or f2s but im 99% sure f1) from a cross between white widow and original haze to gain stability and more of the product you're after. My thought is select the most representative of what you want and self those and continue on your breeding if you can, espcially if you have good OG type phenos for males. The second thought I have is grow out the best of the best to maintain a healthy genepool and select from those the best of the very best of those and forward cross them to do another selection until you get closer to your ideal, but breed several different selections you like so later you can recombine your lines and gain a bit of vigor back so that you can always have seed stock in case you loose select females.

Agreed!!!!! Its not that hard to find a cut of Og ..Or buy mostly OG seeds.Why work for it ,when u could work at finding it instead,wouldn't that be easier?

What I have found crossing og is that the lemon pine smell is the hardest thing to get in your crosses, I have got nice og type plants but never have I sucseded in getting the smell , no smell no og taste. I havent went any further than one cross so Im sure it can be done, peps are saying that swerves og bx1 have the lemon smell, Im growing 4 right know but there a long way from done so we will see.

IMO - I highly doubt you will get a OG out of mixes. Go to Cali and get one..Best of luck tho, something good may come out..it's like trying to make a pitbull out of a cocka-pit and pit-poodle mix LOL..
