Palin is a god damn liar and you should be smart enough to know that nokuy. especially since you live in Alaska. She's just like the rest of them. she's blatantly lied about her record over and over.

that doesn't mean i am endorsing obama either. he's a god damn thief himself.

I'm not down with Palin...

For whatever reason, my bullshit meter hits the red when she opens her mouth.

One of the funniest things I've heard people mention in order to qualify her for VP status is Alaska's proximity to Russia. How ridiculous...as if a governor of a state could go toe-to-toe with a whole country...

Edit: I think that her serving as McCain's VP is a desperate play to the female population that was so jazzed about Hillary Clinton's run for president. The whole thing seems insincere, but then again, this is politics we're talking about. I'm also bothered by the fact that she hides behind her gender; when someone criticizes her, she and her supporters dismiss it as sexism. Yet, when she delivers the sarcastic rhetoric, she is praised for her insight. The whole sexism defense is a little ironic when the only reason she was chosen was to attract female voters in the first place.

I'm not saying Obama's any good either. Personally, two party elections always lead to choosing between the lesser of two evils.

And Rudolf, what's your dog's name? I might just write it in this November if this shit gets any worse...

A vote for any of these traitors is a vote for the very "shitstem" that oppresses you. In the last 100 years these two parties have brought us income tax, the corrupt federal reserve system that has made your dollar lose 95% of its value, countless wars, depressions, recessions, housing crisis, and criminalized one of the most valued resources to all mankind. Why is that ship going to reverse course with your worthless vote? Wake up. It is all a scam. All wealth comes from capital and labor. The capitalists restrict access to capital and then gouge the workers. That is why you can work for 40+ hours a week and still not have enough.
Real freedom and independence comes from having your needs met. Have you heard of Maslow? Your needs are artificially restricted at the bottom and artificially reinforced at the top? How affordable and accessible is your housing, clean water, good organic locally grown food, fuel, heat, and a strong close knit family structure? Now how affordable is a Playstation 3, movies, McDonalds, Sports, fantasy, etc.?
No politician will save you from these problems they have created. It is just going to be more of the same. Grow a plant. Grow some food. Get some chickens. Buy a house. (ha,ha) Cancel your cable. Read a book. Get off the system that is taking away your rights, stealing your labor, and dictating how to live your life.
Although your vote doesn't actually count for the presidency it will show support for a system that has managed to screw you a little more gently than other political systems in the past. I guess thats how you like it though. Nice and gently.

By the way, your presidential vote counts for little more than a popularity poll anyway thanks to our "founding fathers" and the electoral college.

Not really. Your vote (in theory) goes towards the way your state will vote. A better system imo than a national popular vote...

Ted Nugent is an irrational screwball.......

The following from an Alaskan makes a lot more sense.......

__________________________________________________

This is from a Bryn Mawr college grad to her fellow alums

Dear classmates -

As an Alaskan, I am writing to give all of you some information on
Sarah Palin, Senator McCain's choice for VP. As an Alaska voter, I
know more than most of you about her and, frankly, I am horrified that
he picked her.

Her husband works in the oil fields of Prudhoe Bay and races snow
mobiles. She is a life time member of the NRA and has worked
tirelessly to allow
indiscriminate hunting of wildlife in Alaska , particularly wolves and
bears. She has spent millions of Alaska state dollars on aerial
hunting of these predators from helicopters and airplanes, dollars
that should have been spent, for example, on Alaska 's failing sch ool
system.

We have the lowest rate of high school graduation in the
country. Not all of you may think aerial predator hunting is so bad,
but how anyone (other than Alaska wolf-haters, of which there are
many, mos t without teeth), could think this use of funds is
appropriate is beyond me. If you want to know more about the aerial
hunting travesty, let me know and I will send some links to
informative web sites.

She has been a strong supporter of increased use of fossil fuels, yet
the McCain campaign has the nerve to say she has "green" policies. The
only thing green about Sarah Palin is her lack of experience. She has
consistently supported drilling in ANWR, use of coal-burning power
plants (as I write this, a new coal plant is being built in her home
town of Wasilla ), strip mining, and almost anything else that will
unnecessaril y exploit the diminishing resources of Alaska and destroy
its environment.

Prior to her one year as governor of Alaska , she was mayor of Wasilla,
a small red neck town outside Anchorage. The average maximum education
level of parents of junior high school kids in Wasilla is 10th grade.
Unfortunately, I have to go to Wasilla every week to get groceries and
other supplies, so I have continual contact with the people who put
Palin in office in the first place. I know what I'm talking about.

These people don't have a concept of the world around them or of the
serious issues facing the US . Furthermore, they don't care. So long as
they can go out and hunt their moose every fall, kill wolves and bears
and drive their snow mobiles and ATVs through every corner of the
wilderness, they're happy. I wish I were exaggerating.

Sarah Palin is currently i nvolved in a political corruption scandal.
She fired an individual in law enforcement here becaus e she didn't
like how he treated one of her relatives during a divorce. The man's
performance and ability weren't considered; it was a totally personal
firing and is currently under investigation. While the issue isn't
close to the scandal of Ted Steven's corruption, it shows that Palin
isn't "squeaky clean" a nd causes me to think there may be more issues
that could come to light. Clearly McCain doesn't care.

When you line Palin up with Biden, the comparison would be laughable
if it weren't so serious. Sarah Palin knows nothing of economics
(admittedly a weak area for McCain), or of international affairs,
knows nothing of national government, Social Security, unemployment,
health care systems - you name it. The idea of her meeting with heads
of foreign governmen ts around the world truly frightens me.
In an increasingly dangerous world, with the economy in shambles in
the US , Sarah Palin is uniquely UNqualified to be vice president.

John McCain is not a young man. Should something happen to him such that
the vice president had to step in, it would destroy our country and
possibly the world to have someone as inexperienced and inappropriate
as Sarah Palin. The choice of Palin is a cheap shot by McCain to try
to get Hillary supporters to v ote for him. when McCain introduced her
today, Palin had the nerve to compare herself with Hillary and
Geraldine Ferraro.

Sarah Palin, you are no Hillary Clinton.
To those of you who, like me, supported Hillary and were upset that she
did not get the nomination, please don't think that Sarah Palin is a
worthy substitute. If you supported Hillary, regardless of what you
think the media and the democratic party may have done to undermine
her campaign, the person to support now is Obama, no t Sarah Palin. To
those of you who are independent or undecided, don't let the choice of
Palin sway you in favor of McCain. Choosing her shows how unqualified
McCain is to be president.

To those of you who are conservative, I
guess you have no choice for president. But please try to see how the
poor choice of Palin tells us a great deal about McCain's judgment.
While the political posturing inherent in the choice of Palin is
obvious, the more s erious issue is the fact that the VP is, literally,
a heartbeat away from the presidency. Sarah Palin is totally and
unequivocally unqualified to be vice president, let alone president.
I know this is a lengthy and emotional email, but the stakes are high.
I thought it might help for all of you , regardless of political
affiliation, to know something about Palin from someone who has to
live with her administration in Alaska on a daily basis.

Barack Obama in my nutshell
Education; Chairman of the board for the Annenberg Challenge, appointed by William Ayers google him need I say more, a failed attempt to link schools with common interests and needs with individuals and organizations that would serve as external partners. The organizations that became "external partners" served as funding agents of Annenberg grants, each had 3 to 4 schools in it's network. Annenberg than gave cash grants to those external partners who were to distribute the cash. For more detailed explanation check out the University of Illinois Chicago's website.
Health Care; He will help "aide" new parents in finding affordable healthcare for their new borns, is he familiar with brokers, which would also help to employ other american workers and free up some of his time so he can focus on that out of control budget that is all to blame on the last eight years forget that we have been an independent debt acquiring country since July 4th 1776. The national health insurance exchange already exists, it is called private health care where self employed people purchase their own health care amongst private providers, I use lifewise I find them affordable with great benefits
Economy; I am unsure if he has even balanced a budget sheet but one should ask them selves how health care will become more affordable and offered to more people, who can't afford it in the first place so they won't be contributing now, it is called taxes. He is going to raise taxes on the working middle class American, the small business owners who provide jobs, health care benefits, retirement planning to their employees. Even to those lucky few who have worked hard and reinvested into our economy through stocks, bonds, and mutual funds he is going to raise those capital gains taxes as well. Whatever happened to his stance on the mortgage crisis or since he isn't in Nevada or California he doesn't need to address that anymore.

preach the word raoul, preach it bro. amen.

ig12- her husband no longer works for bp.is the nra the devil or something. last i checked, they were defending our 2nd ammendment. did you mention experience. thats a big no no. obama is the most inexperienced/unqualified candidate in the last 100 years. hes wrote 2 memoirs, but has not authored one major piece of leg. or reform. a redneck town huh. i guess that makes the whole state redneck since its mostly white according to your reasoning ability. i guess you were not part of that 80% that approves and loves her up there. may i suggest a peta life time membership for you. i hope your a vegetarian. how about joining the sierra club. better yet, make every alaskan stay home and dont have any fun in the great outdoors. being a governor is kinda like being a community organizer except you actually have responsibility. she has more executive experience than obama/biden combined. i still cant believe the inexperience argument. let me quote your buddy joe biden"the white house is no place for on the job training" then theres your beloved hillary"you want someone who will be ready to answer the phone at 3am. sound familiar? geraldine ferraro loves palin. watch any of her interviews lately? a cheap shot at hillary. i view mccain's move as brilliant. did you notice the polls that came out today. the same polls that the dems swear by. 49-45 mccain. so sorry. why would democratic feminests(femi-nazis) like hillary anyway. she rode her husbands coattails. you know the femi-nazis are against this. palin is a self made women. nice try. you fail, but nice try. :muahaha:

I am absolutely fekking amazed, that after 8 years of the dog and pony show that Duhhhbya and the Repubs have forced down our throats, that there are people who will still support any Republican over a Democrat.Nevermind that McCain will follow to the letter the roadmap that Duhhhhbya (and his handlers) has laid out...and don't even get me started on the whack that he selected for vp.Course,if all you want is someone who can field dress a moose...then go ahead, vote for more of the same, but can America can afford 4 more years of self serving, slack-jawed leadership?Go ahead, vote for the nutjobs, lets go for a complete and total economic meltdown!

Ted Nugent?

The guy has more than one loose screw...and is not to be considered sane by any reasonable definition.
