Everything's looking very lush on your patio, GA! Did you plant that sunflower late or just a late bloom?
Yesterday tropical storm Hannah passed by and many of my sunflowers were toppled in two. After an opening deluge very early in the a.m., I went out and staked the PP. A good thing, she's a willowy & frail thing.
Compared to mine, Karma's looks so healthy w/ all her leaves, but the buds look pretty similar!
The storm blew her over a bit, the stake helped no doubt. She's lost all her fan leaves. After seeing Kayaman's post,(congrats Kayaman, how to go! ) I brought my magnifying glass to check the trichs. Mostly cloudy with next to no amber, so I will hopefully be able to let her go 2 more wks, which is when I took my '05 PP down.
Here she is today. Notice the weed seed stuck on bud in the last shot.
PITA, one whole branch is covered! Going to need tweezers to clean them off.

I love all these seed bomb videos... I've never heard of anyone doing that...

Pretty crazy the one guy got some to grow over on that island by just shooting a bunch over there through some bamboo! Wonder if thats really true....

Garden's looking pristine, GA, thanks for the updated shots and dream vid! The season can't have been too bad this year... I remember you guys saying last season was a cloudy/rainy one... Those sunflowers are quite behind...

Thanks for the updates, esbe! Is the front DC x erocket/dp male? The guerilla gold male sure has nice branching structure, but the floral structure seems a bit spread out... I prefer to see the clustering balls vs. the balls on long stems... What do you think he hit? The whole garden?

Weather here has been perfect! A bit on the dry side, but we get enough moisture...

Crossed all the females in the gardens with 3 Deep Chunk stamenate plants! Going to be a bumper seed harvest... Couple shots...

Herijuana 3 weeks ago, in full bloom now but I'm covered in pollen so I'm not going near her now.

Killa Queen V2 pollen I spilled all over myself (I dusted this on a Herijuana clone)

Looks like the exciting times arrived... :smile:

The sunflower is just flowering late this year.

The funny Haze is still expanding like crazy, but no sex yet.
It will be a miracle if the Haze will finish.
I can't take it in, so I leave it to nature..

JohnXIV left this morning.
We had a chill week together.
Visiting some coffeeshops and the beach.

I don't ask how are you doing, becouse I can see that you are doing great hehe :smile: Also plants are looking wonderfull. I wish too be there, so I could "touch them, smell them" hehe

The atmosphere on Stadium of Sound festival wam amazing... Sooo much positive energy from the dancing people, that I could almost feel it hehe... But to be honest I was a bit disapointed with Tiesto's Set... He didn't show nothing special. I think that he is a tired after the whole season playing around the world. But the Sebastian Ingrosso and Erick Morillo playd one of the best sets I have ever heard....

I took only few pics, becouse I forget about my camere in my hand while I was dancing hehe. Here is the one I like the most:

The Green Ambassadors are doïng fine and era flowering 5 weeks already!! They are very resinous...

The other Haze didn't show sex yet.

Today was sunny and around 25 degrees.

It's good to see people standing up in a peacefull way...
In the Netherlands at the moment it looks like people take our freedom too much for granted.
It looks like the freedom where people fought for in the sixtees and the seventees is goïng down the drain.
Afraid to lose their jobs, or their status, people don't show their "real faces" anymore..
I think the world is on a breaking point.
Either this world makes a jump in awareness, or we'll keep on digging our own graves.....
It's time for a change.....

The flowers at the terrace change every day.
The Purple Peace and Afghan Peace start to produce resins now.
I think the Purple Peace in the bowl can be harvested in 2 or 3 weeks.
The Afghan Peace needs a couple of weeks more.
Sun is shining and it's 20 degrees.

On one of the plants there is a first sign of mildew.
This afternoon I am going to buy some "Sidinal" of Ecostyle.
When I don't do it today or tomorrow I can throw away that plant.
This is one of the bad side effects of global warming.
The summers are getting more wet overhere, so moist and and humidity are triggering mildew and mold... too bad.

But if I act quick I can safe her.

The Purple Princess Queen is looking fine, no signs of mold or mildew, only the Afghan Peace....

Hope you guys are all fine and are not attacked by any kind of mold...

Hi GA, Copper Sulphate solution has been used for years for controling mildew in organic potatoes, Those plants look great, save me a seed for next year .

Hi Farmazz,

I am saved by the bell today!!
I visited a garden centre this afternoon.
It was sunny, so at the end of the day I sprayed 2 of the 4 plants where I spotted the first mildew.
I used Sidinal of Ecostyle, an enviroment friendly product.
I am glad I did it today, because tomorrow rain has been forecasted.
The temp today was 25, but the temps are going down tomorrow to 16 degrees and rain. The funny thing is almost no wind the coming days.
The night temps go down to 6 degrees at night.
So soon the heaters will be on again, at least at night...

So I am very happy with the 3 beautiful ladies.
You can clearly see the difference between the sativa flowers and the Afghan Peace Indica flowers.

It realy looks like everything is a couple of weeks behind compaired to last year.
The sunflower is also flowering a month later then last year.

Nature, unpredictable.
I love nature, always surprises...

The temperatures dropped drasticly...
From 25 to 16 degrees by day and 7 by night.
Today is cloudy and sometimes some rain.
The plants are looking fine and it looks like next week will be warmer again.

A sunny day in little paradise...
It's sunny and warm at the terrace, even it's only 17 degrees.
A little breeze.
The Purple Peace in the bowl and the Afghan Peace are getting more resins every day.
Still give them every other day Bio Canna Flores and Bio Canna Boost.
The Purple Peace Queen just starts to produce resins.

19th of October the Canna Embassy is dropping a harvest party.
De Verdamper will be present also, maybe some dj's and a lot of smoke!
For more info on the harvest party you can drop a pm for the details...

It's not strange that the Haze just started to show sex, even it's still over 12 hours of sun.
Sun came up at 7.13 am and goes under at 7.56
At the 25th of september it will be exactly 12 hours.
Sun comes up at 7.31 am and under at 7.31 pm.

I knew that the Haze won't be able to finish, because the friend that shared the seeds told me that they were grown under artificial light, but I am a guy that likes to experiment...

So if I like to grow the Haze next year, I have to manipulate them and trigger flowering by putting them dark for 12 hours in june.
We'll see. Don't like manipulating that much, except for bending.
Would like to grow the Purple Princess again next year.
I also like to grow the Teheran Peace. :smile:
I came across so many nice strains the last couple of years.
I loved the Danish Passion (delight), the Erdpurt, Happy Brother, Afghan Peace and I have seen so many more nice strains at this thread, ICmag, other sites and friends, but I can't grow them all at my terrace... sigh...
And last but not least, all the nice crossess here at the Canna Botanica over the last 15 years.

I renamed the Teheran Devil into Teheran Peace :smile:

Not only in front of the Canna Embassy has changed.
Also at the back changes happened.
"They" renovated a couple of houses and made 40 student apartments. The students just moved in.
So I have to watch the plants now. :wink:

HELLO ALL,


I am happily surprised.
One of the neighbours called me and told me that they have a Purple White Widow!
2 seeds came up spontaneously. It' s a cross between White Widow and Purple Peace.
She looks lovely.
I made some nice purple pictures, but I have no access to the internet at the moment and at this computer I can't manage pictures.
My computer needs to be reinstalled.
Someone did last month, but I had more problems after reinstalling!
Also lost 2 years of emails and emailadressess.
I hope to be back soon online...
