Does anyone here hand roll their hash like the old-school afghani pakistani process? or is it all iso, bubble, etc....

I would love to see some pics.

I kind of do, I make most of my harvested bud into hashes of 3 different strengths. 1 is the best, It is BHO of the keif in my grinder after grinding the bud for the second strength, which is just that, ground bud. The lowest potency is just trim. I can only handle number 1 every once in a while, that stuff will make the walls move if you smoke more than .3 of it.

I think the original poster meant rolling hash (charras) on live plants, like they do in India, Nepal etc...
But I have yet to see simple home growers having enough starting material, i.e enough plants, to be able to do that without cringing about the waste. FYI, local charras makers, and I mean the commercial kind, are able to harvest about 50 grams a day after a hard day work in the fields (or in the wild)... and that quality is just average.

If you want to make the best cream, you must only touch very lightly the flowering tops, so as to get only the mature trichomes, and for that, you need dozens of plants. People harvesting for quality in the Himalayas only manage to make around 10 grams/day or less. So I don't think many people try this at home, no.

I wish I could, though :)

my interpretation of the original posters comment is that he means hand pressing

yes, ive hand pressed many a sheet of hash.. generally i press out bubble but i also use to make jelly with a combo of oil/keif/and some bubble.

yeah, i was talking about charras. I know its inefficient and all that, its just a dream of mine (yep, cuz you need a fair amount of plants) and was wondering if anyone had the plantage and time/care to do it already.

i kind of figured thats what you meant, but most people would never try it so i went with my second thought. ive only hand rubbed it straight off the plant twice( boy was it worth it), on some nepalese plants and one other south asian plant that were just super frosty. the hash was sooooo sticky. only thing is the yield of hash is low but quality is through the roof.
