Lime in DWC?

I have no money for cal-mag plus and I have a cal def thats getting pretty bad. I am about 3 weeks veg with nirvana's master kush in a dwc. I have a bunch of lime that I could grind up but I'm not sure if it would mess with the ph or anything. Any thoughts would be helpful.

Try some tap water. Tap water has plenty of Ca in it.

You hit the nail on the head FreezerBoy. I have $12 but thats about all I have lol. Maybe I can fast on beer for a day, I have 9 buds in the fridge?
Wait...What?-Not really sure I have been having a lot of problems with my grow lately. I usually have everything dialed in but this Master Kush has been giving me grief. I Have been using the pbp products but once I get the money I am going to get GH. Much cheaper and I have seen a lot of success with it.
Haps-I may give that a shot. Although I don't have any handy and if I am going to spend money I might as well just the the cal-mag. If I do happen to snag some from a friend should I pulverize it?

Cost about a buck at the dollar store, disolve it in water. I had my lean times in life also, collecting bottles to sell for food, heating water in the sun to bathe, it is good to learn to be frugal.

How is magnesium sulfate gonna help with a Ca def?
Oh that's right, you have a mag def.
Doug you gotta be more specific in your diagnosis. Ca and Mg are not the same molecule.

If you have a calcium deficiancy, adding epsom salts doesn't fix it.

The two usually ride together, but yeah, the epsom is for mag. Sorry, reckon I was/am stoned. Antacid, or talc, might get you the ca, but I have not tryed that so it might also have a downside I do not know about. Ground eggshell would work for soil, not sure how it would go in dro.

hit the health food store for some calcium phosphate and add it to your nutrient solution. just a suggestion...

but i dont understand how you could grow using tap water and have a Ca deficiency - unless you overdo it on the Mg and lock it out. Too much of one locks the other out because it cant break the bond. Or something. Too much blueberry makes me think silly so I"ll stop editing the post now...
