$7.00 for a new hps bulb? Too good to be true?

I am used to paying more for my hortilux bulbs but I love them, do you think the above bulbs are ok??

They don't give any specs or even the name brand on the one.

Try it, if it sux, you are out $8.
If its ok, you have a cheap backup.
If it is good, then by more.

Good find, I also found a LEGIT site which has EXCELLENT pricing on Eye Hortilux bulbs:

I placed a $300 online order and had it within 2 days. EXTREMELY DIFFICULT to find a better price than $70/600W Hortilux $714/case of 12

I'm pretty sure that businesslights and 100bulbs are the same company (alladinslighting) and MAY be plantlightinghydroponics. If they are, they dropship, and shit comes int he 'EYE' and 'GH' and "500CFM Carbon Air Scrubber" boxes. I dunno if there is a way to ensure plain boxes, but that is very important to me.

I have seen the 400w bulbs at the depot for ~14 bux.

you do know there is an EYE bulb, and an EYE HORTILUX bulb right? the regular EYE bulbs are cheap as any no-name brand.

400W HPS bulbs sell at HOME DEPOT for 12.99-14.99 (last time i looked) and there good philips not some wierd asian brand ABC bulbs inc or wack shit. infact i ran through a couple of them before i moved to hortilux hps 400w's and then up to 600's then --> 1K's and i think there great.

I've used those bulbs from 1000bulbs.com.
They're ok for a back up it case your main bulb breaks or something.
I wouldn't use them for very long on a serious grow, just long enough
till you get a replacement.

What difference did you see between these bulbs and your normal bulbs? What are your normal bulbs?

My normal bulb is a Sylvania Growlux

My back up is just a regular Lumalux also made by Sylvania.
I think I only paid like $11.00.
The Growlux is definitely brighter and gives a better blue spectrum.
