Esben - No male flower. If you look closely, you will se two small white hair comming up. I flower her indoor because I want some early smoke. Maybe I move her outside on good sunny summer days in July.
But now what is this?
The plant started to strech rather much. And since CFL do not throw light very far, I feared only the top would get sufficient light. So I topped the plant. Another view:
I moved the top inside under my desk lamp.
There's a magnifying glass on the top of the lamp so you can see through.
A little closer.
From the side.
The rest of the plant standing inside the growroom. I added another CFL, so now she is getting 380W. That is 1225W/m²!!!!!
I am looking very much forward to see how she will develop.
The plants outside. This photo was taken late evening with an 6s exposure. Out of the 14 plants I started up first, 5 were females - the ones in 12L pots to the left on the photo. And I am soooo happy, because my most beatiful plant, the Deep Chunk x (E-Rocket x Danish Passion) shown in my previous post is one of the females
The 10 plants in 6L pots has not shown their sex yet.
Here they are taken with flash.

The bigger plants has been put into 65L pots by now. On the left is two topped Royale Danes, and on the right is my Deep Chunk x (E-Rocket x Danish Passion). All three are females.
One of the Royale Danes.

Deep Chunk x (E-Rocket x Danish Passion).
Having rather big leaves.
Erdpurt x (E-Rocket x Danish Passion), also a female.
Two flies having fun.
They were giving themself good time, so no problem getting som photos.
Actually they were doing it for more than 15 minutes..
A little spider.
I don't know what kind of bug this is.
Or this.
But this definitely is one of the bad guys.
And this is one of good guys.
Eating the bad ones.
Some kind of spider found underneath a leaf.
But now what is this box doing here?
Inside are 4 cuttings from the Deep Chunk x (E-Rocket x Danish Passion) and 4 from the Erdpurt x (E-Rocket x Danish Passion).
And here we have 16 new plants comming up.
Later the cuttings and the 16 new ones are to be plantet into this soil - where you right now see 3 female plants, all (Purple Peace x Potchronic) x Henkes Lolland. One is bend down, ones has been topped and the last ones has been left untouched.
The whole grow seen a little from above.
Well no! This is from above.
I'm finishing the update with a photo of one of the two Erdpurt x (Purple Peace x Apollo 11). The gender is unknown, but 2 males have allready been removed.
Inside the other Erdpurt x (Purple Peace x Apollo 11), I found this little spider.

Everything seems so absolutely content and happy, not just the Canna. I am extremely envious of you and your awesome garden, it must be nice to have such a tranquil place to sit back without worry.
I'm curious though, could I ask what Camera this was shot with, pray tell?
