best MJ i have ever smoked....nothing else comes close to it. ive got some pretty heavy hitters in my bullpen. for me this strain sets the bar for what goes into my room. so any more info would help if ya feel like posting it.

Where did you hear that 707 H.B was Abusive's O.G Kush x Rezdog's Sour D ibl?
I've heard multiple storys about the 707 cut, and the most prevalent is that its a sour d O.G cross like you said. I'd be surprised if the Abusive cut was used in the cross, considering the type of aroma that cut puts out.
The 707 is much different in flavor than the other Sour D x O.G cuts going around the community right now, while the other cuts are more astringent fuel type the 707 is much more O.G type flavor with less fuel aromas and more straight up lemon pinesol skunk. Its very popular in So Cal, esp. for commercial purposes.

Maybe your cut is the underdog, but schroomys Original Diesel cut also fits your description of aroma and style of growth.

bar none the best stuff ive ever smoked. nothing comes close to it....bubba/pure/master/erkle/og(ive smoked pracrically all the OG's)/SD/any of the chems nothing touches it. i know i can type alll day bout it.....nothing holds a flame to it.

i knew dis one dude in arcata who was claimin he got the arcata headband aka 2008 trainwreck aka shwag from some glassblowers in portland and claimed he was told it came out of a sack of chem

Honestly if one was lookin for a large yielding diesel family cut chem 4 would be it but that's just my opinion. ive seen a lot of the headband cut that goes around arcata. i personally think that 707 headband is a very bad name for this cut since the 707 area code encompasses cali from santarosa to cresent city. the "headband" cut that comes from cali is a cut that is heavily grown in town(arcata)
maybe it would be cool to start labeling it arcata headband and then ya'll can recognize it for what it is..another "trainwreck"

I think trainwreck is great personally, bit tired of it by now, but whats wrong with the wreck? Its def. a unique cut.
Anyways, true the chem 4 is a yeild monster, and perhaps even a better/easier producer than the 707 H.B. But unfortunatley that mild pine air refreshener aroma of the Chem 4 just does'nt cut it. The trademark quality of the Arcata/707 headband is it's powerful stank and straight up dank O.G flavor... I don't know what more one could ask for in a O.G Kush driven market? Orgnkid's Sour Kush and that Sour D x O.G cut going around certaintly perform the role well too, but IMO and seeming market consesus down here in So Cal: the 707 H.B reigns supreme ATM. Bottomline, it smells like some classic O.G, has got the kush Calyx look however yeilds like a mersh cut & vigerous as hell. All the strains in this thread are great varities.
