DIY Bubbling gravity bong

If you're a fan of bongs, or gravity bongs then oh boy do I have a fun little gadget for you. The way a gravity bong works really saves weed, although a lot of people find them to be kind of harsh. These save weed compared to a big fat bong of weed and tend to be even smoother than most small bongs.

Go to the plumbing aisle of home depot, go to the brass fittings and look for one like this



then right next to it look for the appropriate plumbing fitting and then cut a hole in the top of a plastic cap to a 2-liter bottle. voila









Put the hose on the end



Now you get really high, I'll post a video of it in action.

I posted one of these on OG about 5 years ago, but mine was 2 downpipes that fitted together instead of the plastic tubing. The bend in tubing made it harder to lift the bowl off once the bottle was full of smoke I always thought, I had some good pics of the smoke bubbling through the water but I lost them with OG

There are quite few vids on youtube of people smoking gravity bongs but I've noticed a lot of people push the bottle down into the water when inhaling instead of lifting it out of the water for a faster hit

I made one of these a few years back and I gotta tell you this thing could give the BIGGEST hits ever. Seriously the water condenses the smoke and then WHAM. Even more than a normal grav and a bit smoother. It had my roommate at the time half passed out/incoherent for a good hour then he puked LOL.

I prefer it with a glass bowl though, this one had a long stem and then a hollow pen duct taped to it...ghetto but it certainly worked. The key is to make the downstem a little shorter than the bottle so the pressure doesn't suck the bottle in, and of course making the bottle cap part airtight.

This thing obliterated anyone that dared to try and take out a whole bowl lol.



Unfortunately it was taken by the cops (it produced too much smoke for the dorms lol) but it was kind of funny having them ask us WTF it was.

Keep the bottom of the bottle in the water until you are ready to smoke but instead of pushing the bottle back downwards, quickly lift it out of the water and at the same time take a sharp breath in to suck up all the smoke. It should clear the whole thing in less than a second and keeps your mouth & face away from the water

So you just hit it before it has time to escape. Nice, I definitely always see people pushing down on it to force the smoke out and sometimes you get a nice little gulp of water! lol..
