Blueberry soil grow

Greetings and welcome to my first real attempt at a medical mj grow. I tried a
practice run with bagseed to get a little experience. Also to get all the noob mistakes out of the way. I overwatered, overfed, harvested at the end of lights ON, didn't flush and let temps get to 90+ but all 4 bag seed plants went all the way through flowering. I gave all the buds away cuz even I wouldn't smoke that shite. ;) even though it was green and seedless.

Here is a little info about my grow. Starting seeds in the moist paper towel in a ziploc method. Then seedlings under T-5 flouros 24/7 in plastic beer cups. When they get rootbound they go into 2 gal and a couple of 3 gal plastic pots under a 400 watt hps @ 12/12. Pics are coming soon (once I figure out how many posts I need to do so.)

I am trying to stay as close to organic as i can. I will be using Black Gold soil with some added perlite, Bone meal, blood meal,
Pure Blend Pro fer soil, Fox Farm big bloom, and if i need them i have cal-mag plus, superthrive, and hygrozyme. OH yea i also have some blackstrap mollasses for the final 10 days or so. If I make it that far. :joint:

The seeds are Dutch Passion Blueberry 5pk (feminized) I germinated only 2 seeds to see if they would sprout as they were 2 yrs old :yoinks:
They started sprouting in the first 24 hrs while still soaking in water. I then put them between a moist paper towel in a Ziploc. :jump: So I then Germed the other 3.

I put the first 2 sprouts in beer cups with straight Black Gold right outta the bag and the remaining 3 are now in the Ziploc fer anudder day or so

When they get rootbound in these cups they will be repotted and go to 12/12 under a 400 watt hps in my soil mix....

2 bags of Black Gold which is 3 cu. ft. or 15 gal.
2 cups of Blood Meal
4 cups of Bone Meal
added perlite

I will be feeding with Pure Blend Pro for soil early to mid flowering then switch to Fox Farm Big Bloom mid to late. I may throw in a small dose of Superthrive in early flowering a la BOG. Did I mention I was using tap water? I considered adding sweet lime to the mix but the guy at the nursurey said it wasn't necessary.....he also didn't know I was growin cannabis.

Any educated recommendations on soil mix or feeding would be appreciated

hi what kinda setup you runnin they probly wont get to big in those little cups before they get root bound

Hi, I only let em get about 6" tall in the cups then i repot and flower em in a closet so I cant let em get very big. Thats why there is little to no veg time. Last time I did this method I wound up with 3ft plants. Thanks fer stoppin in. :joint:

Here is a pic of the veg cab and the flowering area....

those plants in the closet were only 6" tall when they went into flower now the tallest is easily 3 ft. Maybe I will veg these blueberry a little longer since they are mostly indica (I think) ;}

Here is a small update. Not much growth though, maybe cuz we had a temp drop outside. Down ta like 47-50 deg. I also germed a few of my freebies I got from GNSB. They are Sam the Skunkmans Durban Poison x Skunk #1. Oh and I also added another flouro for a total of 4 2ft T-5 bulbs

I am growing a blueberry cutting and i am deeply dissapointed.

It has such small buds compared to the rest.

but i am sure that this has everything to do with the quality of the cutting itself , .

Maybe in the future i will try her from seed

I just repotted the 2 largest plants. All 5 BB are growing at different rates and leaves are doin what BB is famous for, mutating. lol
After getting some valuable advise in the Organics forum I am now changing my mix to....

3 bags Black Gold 4.5 cu. ft.
4 cups blood meal (a little more than I wanted) my mistake
4.5 cups bone meal
2 cups kelp meal
2 cups Jersey greensand
4.5 cups powdered dolomite lime
1 small bag of Black Gold EWC

Feeding Liquid Karma and molasses with every other watering or maybe LK and Hygrozyme instead of molasses

I have PBP soil formula and Cal-Mag on standby

Looking very excellent.

I liked blueberry and I think its great for the first couple time grows. Down the road there are so many other strains with such exotic flavors and highs.... ahh I envy you for being able to do all that... alast I already did.

dev I said I wanted to stay as CLOSE to organic as i can...and theres no flouride in the tap water up here. And everybody knows the PBP I was planning on using isn't 100% organic either.

edit-tap here is only 170 ppm and a ph of 7.4
