Wow, 700 an ounce is very expensive, the most expensive bud i have smoked was 280 per ounce, and i thought it was overpriced.

before that the most expensive i had were other kushes for around 550-600
then strawberry cough, the cheese and the hog were all for 400 a zip

Acouple years ago we had some amazing kush going around that was 550 a ounce, the bud was absolutly amazing. I've also gotten some bud from local med clubs that go's for 400-500 a O but alot of the clubs dont really break down prices

i have heard of good tops that go for 300-325 from the grower being sold for 100 an eighth in NYC but i would never think about dropping dough like that

The most i paid was six hundred for an ounce of some of the original og kush that went around the valley like five six years ago. It was hands down some of the best i have ever smoked in my life. I believe we went back and bought a couple more zones. I wont really pay over sixty an eighth as a rule of thumb and that goes for og kush as well. I luckily get my og for fifty an eighth from my boy.

Commercial "headies" around here goes for at least $60 per 1/8 and it isn't always the best looking bud in town but it certainly gets the job done. Personally, I've never spent more than $80 on an 1/8 and I don't intend to ever do so. It was probably some of the dankest bud I've ever had. It had a strange smooth caramel/orange flavor to it and it was loaded with trichomes. It was extremely dense and had a very good balance of head/body buzz. It started out as a soaring mind-fuck and after an hour or two it would wind down a bit and almost knock you out. As far as I know it didn't have a name but as soon as I saw it and smoked it I knew it was worth the money.

I think for many of us, the most expensive bud coincides with the most naive and inexperienced times in our lives when it comes to herb. That said, the most expensive bud I ever smoked was homegrown "orange kush". Freshly harvested, straight off the plant. It was $80 for an eighth. The guy gave me 4.5g because it was "still wet". In retrospect, the bud wasn't frosty, and probably not really mature. So....assuming that it was midgrade weed, and that I paid for about 1.5 grams, I paid a little more than $55 for a gram of lower-midgrade herb. I haven't paid for weed in about 2 1/2 years now.

Down in Orange County we have a strain called the Pitt that seels for $700 . This is why I grow fuck these prices and the guy selling it .
