Actully a couple of questions. Should I use tap water or distilled water for the res?#2 do I ph the water before adding the nutes or before and after.The system is eb&flo 15 gal res first try at hydro want to make it as simple as possible.Thanks

RO water with calmag at 200 ppms. You add nutes and then adjust your ph to around 5.8 5.9.

If you are using tap water do not use cal mag ever.

Not sure never used epsom salts before. It is basically just calcium and magnesium and a few other micro nutes. Tap water already has high levels of calmag in it. Sometimes too much calmag if you ask me.

Thanks for the response Im going to start with distilled water an gh nutes with Liquid Karma .The plants are clones started in dirt about a month ago I am keeping them small right now they are in party cups under a small watt cfl need to keep them in there for about another 3 wks then going to transplant into eb/flo system.Thanks again peace

Epsom Salt is Magnesium Sulphate (MgSO4) FWIW my tap has an EC of 0.5 (250-350ppm)
