I live in Texas, and we now have at least a dozen hydroponic shops and those are the ones I know about. On top of that we can seeds buy easily that were genetically designed to grow indoors I guarantee you in 10 years. The numbers will double I do not see how they would be able to put a stop to us. How would they go about it.they would be jailing alot of middle-class Americans is this not how things that are illegal become legal when a underground network forms.

I'm a northerner LOL, we only have two shops near me and both have been in business for atleast 8yrs. I spoke with one of the owners once at a concert lol decent guy he was. The thing is, I've never been to either shop and when I go near the one closest to me I always see cops near the place or even parked right by it, fucken lazy pigs. Makes me to nervous to even give it a look. Just cause its a hydro store doesn't mean everyone who goes in is doing something illegal but I don't need the attention. The funny thing is that a smoke shop and this hydro store are like a block away from one another and the cops always in between. I just see it best to avoid the situation all together and shop online.

I really like hydro stores; Its nice to go somewhere and check out products on a touch/feel basis rather than just looking online. I also enjoy being able to ask the employees questions, although i could do without theirs...Lately I've just been ordering over the phone which works well. When i call they're usually pretty busy but process my order really quick.

I'm curious as to what percentage of business at hydro stores is "legit"...

I do, its called the DEA/FBI/Blackwater/Local Police/Constables etc. If the federal/local gov't wants to stop something, they will. Take cali for example: They're in the midst of a state vs Federal law dispute, read about the raids and you'll quickly understand how they'll do it.

Yeah they would be jailing a lot of people...but thats nothing new. Illegal acts don't become legal because people form an "underground", generally these things have an underground and then LEO finds out about it...Booze, drugs, sex, fireworks, knives, guns...you name it.

I would love for 'Merica to become a growers utopia, but i don't foresee that happening anytime soon. Maybe in ten years or so, when the college grads of today are really getting some swing, but not too soon. It all needs to be socially acceptable first....

Maybe we should all open stores rather than grow rooms?

I've had this idea lately to become the modern day johnny appleseed, which involves an invention at which I'm still in the conceptual stage. My invention would be a cane that you fill up with seeds that automatically dispenses seed into the earth undernearth it. Since I use a cane currently it would be pretty inconspicuous to anyone but me.

I've always wanted an ultralight, with one I could find great outdoor spots and even drop seed. Imagine going up with a helicopter with a few pounds of seed and dropping them in groups in the fall. Do enough of that and there would be a lot of wild cannabis, but that would probably illicit a backlash from concerned parents.

pointed hollow walking cane...what would be trick would be getting some sort of thumb release/slide to dole out seeds as needed....
