Hey kallen dude...

Lol...I haven't been posting, I've been on holidays! Back to work from today.
I"ve been checking on my ladies, a little bit of nutes here, lots of molasses there...making sure they don't get mold etc.

I actually really wanted to post some pics this post. Unfortunately, Mrs Saibai has the camera again. Shits been great here...lots of rain, the girls are looking really good! I could almost smoke the Hashberry now!!! The Skunks have fattened up too. The Zamal is also getting fatter.
Heh...its hard to keep smoking the males with all that trich goodness just a little hike away...

Because of the rain, the mountain is all muddy and slippery, I fell a couple of times. So I went out and got maybe the coolest footwear I have ever owned...knee-high, thin, flexible rubber...NINJA BOOTS!!! Heh...like really light gumboots with a split toe. I tried them out for the first time today...now I don't have to worry about the spiders, snakes and everything else I cant see in the thick undergrowth. No getting dirty socks and feet, no wet shoes, more grip! They kick ass...until I tried to take them off. lol

Seriously, I was looking around for some scissors or something to cut them the fuck off, it took 10mins or so. lol

Oh yeah, I came home today to my Seedbay order (another pic I wanted to post).

Hell yeah! I just hope that they're not waiting for the trichs to turn amber.
To be honest though, I haven't seen them at all lately. Wasps and mosquitos give me more problems atm. And yucky spiders.

Well, anyway, heres the indicas coming atm for 2009:

White Label: Double Gum
NRS: Aurora Indica
Danish: Sweet Tooth x Black Domina (I think I'll call this one "Black Tooth", after Dimebag)

...and some more strains here and there...I've gotta make some crosses next year.

As for this year, I have the Monkey Magic cross (ZamalSkunk x Dreamgoddess), and I still have some Dreamgoddess pollen in the freezer...I don't really know if I'm gonna use it or not, I could pollenate the Hashberry or Snow White (better hurry though, they look like they're going to finish pretty early), but I don't think I'll bother. I'll probably just throw it away.

ps. can't get to my ladies until this weekend at the earliest...then I'll get some pics of the Hashberry...she was looking very nice, with lots of trichs and buds developing. I could probably even take a sample of a small bud already!

Sounds like your garden is really starting to Rock'n Roll Saibai! Must be great to get summer rain, I won't get much if any until the end of October if it's a normal year here. The Snowwhite and Hashberry sound like some nice early smoke.

Tbh I've never made seeds before, just with the crackdowns lately here on seeds (which are still legal, as long as they're nonviable) I would rather make my own...I guess we'll find out next year. What did you cross the DG with?

cdc: heheh...wherever theres pot lovers, theres pot.

Heres the shrooms, they look terrible in this pic! Notice the shrivelled-looking grey ones, compared to the healthy-looking big thick ones. Also, notice the big hole where I removed substrate to try and get rid of the green mold (which from what I understand isn't dangerous to humans) with some bleach water and some salt.





Trouble is, same as the mushroom "roots" mycelium, its all through it.
Theres no bad smell, and theres no other contams...after I get what I can from this flush I think I'll dunk the cake in some bleach-water mix overnight to try and kill the mold (apparently it doesn't kill the mycelium) and maybe change containers etc.
Plan B is to make an outdoor patch using the cake.
