I suck at math, tent calculations and strain selection

DR 150 and 1kw KIT 700$ shipped
Vortex fans & Filter 475$ shipped
Other costs- $100 (seeds, soil, bags,ducting)

Total $1200

Thats my equipment I am getting and my expenses. I am going to use one of the 6 inch vortex for air cooling the 1kw and use another vortex on a carbon filter for the tent itself. I've already got nutes and have a few strains in mind:

CH9 Flower
CH9 Hash Plant
GHS Train wreck (maybe)
I've looked at female strawberry kush and also female blueberry....

Any other recommendations for female seeds, my need in order of importance in strain are: (in order from most important to least)

-Potency
-Yeild
-Uniformity
-Tolerance, Hardiness

How many plants should I run in a DR 150 under 1k , and in what size container?

hey nor cal i have that exact setup and have 20 plants in 3 gallon buckets i kinda wish i did only 16 but didnt want to throw away 4 nice plants .i think if you could get ahold of square buckets id do 20 in 3 gallon or 16 in 5 gallon but if using round buckets 16 3 gallons or 12 in 5 gallons.

Bad news... all those plants got stolen... except for the one that was already trimmed it was in another spot drying and they stole the other 3 that had time left.

Ill prolly roll with that then 16 plants in 3 gallons grow bags should be no prob. How long do you veg with that setup?

Do you use a fan for air cooling your hood and another fan for running a scrubber in your tent or how exactly did you set it up?

Got a grow log. I'd defiantly check it out.

Anyone else got any ideas...

I'm doing 80 in gallon grow bags and 5 inch pots in my dr150... should do pretty well. Next run I'm thinking 5 gallon bags, 25 plants and vegging longer... a lot less of a hassle.

You got 2 vortexes and a filter shipped for $475, that's a pretty good deal, what kind of filter/where from? Also what kind of 1kw? I'm only going lumatek from now on I think because they seem a lot brighter than my old magnetic one.

Wow 80 plants in dr 150 that sounds like a jungle in there.... what about 40 in 2 galloners with a little longer veg u think that would be ok? 80 is too many plants for me....

Good luck with this, I just broke down the costs for my set up in my thread after your last post because you got me thinking (then I saw this thread, lol!). Good luck with your security this time, that's such a bummer to lose a friend over a stupid green plant. I love weed, but friends>weed 100% of the time, if they're real friends.

I hope you sort everything out with your ex friend so that he at least gets what he deserves.
