Closet Envirolite grow.......

 Hi all.My first post on IC having lurked for sometime after the sad demise of Overgrow.
Done a few grows , both indoor and outdoor, over the years. Given up on the outdoor this season due to the wet weather last year. However, have got a closet setup underway in which i shall be using 200watt/250watt Envirolites in a quad reflector. Space isn't vented but i have adequate circulation from fans that have enabled me to get pretty decent harvests in the past. I usually aim for a yield of around an ounce dried from each plant grown from seed in soil.
I'm gonna stick with the same regime/ferts/medium as in previous grows.
Canna pro one part perlite.
Bio bizz veg and bloom ferts and Top Max
Liquid seaweed and kelp.
Bat guano.
This time out its 3 Big Bang fems, 1 White Shark fem ( maybe 2 if another picks up a little) 1 Greenhouse Trainwreck fem ( Only 1 popped from a pack of 5...not good eh ?! )
Nirvana Bubblicious( all 10 popped so hoping for decent ratio of fems)
2 unknown bagseed fems as a standby and a Black Widow found in a bud bought in Katsu !
I considered doing a scrog this time but think i have too many different strains to negotiate.Im looking to have 10 to 12 plants max. to flower.
Always receptive to tips/advice or constructive criticism.
All, with the exception of the bagseed, have been out of their Bowers seedling compost for 12 days and are currently veging under 1 1/2 200wt blues ( couple of tubes smashed ! ) Will pot on to 13cm pots middle of next week, then veg for a further 2/3 weeks.
If there is sufficient interest will update regularly with photos
Cheers everyone.

Dude,
If you're expecting an oz. per plant @ 250 watts you are the man?!
That would disprove everything I have read here.
Unless you are growing 1 plant.

i'm watching and listening...tagged..good luck ..

Thanks guys . Set up is basic with no vent in closet. My saving grace is that i am able to keep nearby window open and have a small fan trained on plants from within. When i get into bloom, ive found that i need something with a 'bit more blow' to keep air circulation to an optimum. I then utilise a standard fan standing on floor outside closet. The set up is far from perfect but fits in with the limited options available to me.
Yup , Hermit. I really have taken around an oz off some plants in the past. Nirvana's Northern lights proved to be a pretty good yielder although i wasnt knocked out with the smoke. Anyway, first time with the Bubblicious for me so im keeping my fingers crossed.
Photo's from today at 20 days after a light feed of seaweed and kelp.

I wasnt going to this time around but im thinking of topping at 5th node maybe monday then veg for another week. I understand the stretch on Bubblicious can be biggish. Im not wanting to have any of my plants over 2ft if possible in view of light penetration under Envirolites. Anyone give me any pointers on this ? Cheers .

Lights Tripped into 12/12

Lights Tripped into 12/12

Ok. Ive let them veg for 23 days and switched to 12/12 Wednesday just gone. I ended up only topping 2 plants....more of reasons of even canopy than anything else .The bubblicious are very uniform with big Indica leafs. The Greenhouse fem genetics , by comparison , look pretty weedy. They have bushed up nicely and have spent an hour tucking leaves for maximum light. My space is getting a little crowded so will welcome opportunity of a spot of culling when the boys show up in a few days time...already a few lanky culprits!
They will be ready for a water and feed a little later and will be adding a little Top Max to the mix.

Guano.

Guano.

Odie-O. The pictured guano is Angolan bat shit and comes in 1kilo tubs. Ive used it for my last 3 grows and have no hesitation in saying that it adds that little bit extra to the final product.....certainly in terms of flavour and slightly more in terms of yield ! Im a European grower so this is the one that is readily available here. As you are on the otherside of the pond, try Guano Kalong or Budswel both rated by American growers and just what you need if you are doing organic in soil. Hope this helps.

all of the bubblicious start out fairly uniform...keep an eye on them during flowering. I'm fairly certain you'll find a low stretch, good bud structure/yield out of those 10. pretty sure all of them with have close to the same aroma,flavor...trich developement varies a little from 8 -9 on a 10 scale (imo). on a side note-Spider mites love em.

one other thing- if that bagseed fem? (i'm not sure what you meant by that) wasn't from some spectactular smoke, i'd pull those, they could do a hermie number on your entire crop ez.

5 Day's into 12/12

Brendon420. I'm sure that your purchase will do the job nicely. Its a perfect bulb for veging a few plants in a tight space. Good luck with it.
Zig. The bagseeds were binned a few days ago. Although i had no idea of the strain , the smoke was excellent. Anyway, i now don't need it to pad out my space as i have the desired amount of plants to flower. Ive never had the problem of mites in this particular space....I'm hoping my luck continues !
Well, the Bubblicious have given me 4 females. I'm happy enough with that baring in mind my limited space. 2 of them have nice thick stems , so i'm hoping that they yield a fair amount of ' goodies '.

Still waiting for Black Widow to show itself. Nice looking plant though , whatever.

Big Bang is bushing out but dont look like they are going to be big yielders....we shall see !

Day 14 of flowering. Picked a gonad off one of the Bubblicious but dont see it being a problem. Not too much stretch on any of them although im now regretting not topping them.
Im able to feed every other day due to having all plants in 1 gallon containers and shall start adding some guano half way through week 3. Pruned and took off lower branches and hoping Big Bangs benefit .....they dont look like they will be yielding much. Photo's snapped on camera phone...........better ones posted in a day or so.
