Ive you were to dry sift buds to catch keif, how much does potenticy decrease in the buds? Can you tell they are sifted when you are done? Thanks guys....

yes you can tell. just make oil out of the buds after you sieve them.

The potency decreases by however much you sifted.
If you smoked it you'd still get high, but not as much.

If you look at a nug before its sifted and after (assuming its not broken apart), you'll be able to tell. It won't look as crystallized.

People have been sifting buds and selling them for a loooong time. thus the nickname BEASTERS. not because the herb is from BC, but because the assholes who bought and sold it, decided they would rob it of every gram of goodness before they did.
oh well what a bummer, at least you can't water extract the resin without turning the bud into something that looked like it went thru a blender, go figure.
