So, i got some new material recently..

1st is "egg hash" from Marocco ofcourse:

Comes in 11 gram chunks

2nd is also maroc, but this material is wierd. Not like the typical pollen stuff. Garda maybe?

Different words for same thing. I had a Pakistani friendwho lived in Paris, everytime I shown up with some Moroccan polm he told me it was garda. polm/pollen = garda

Looks pretty nice whatever !

Yeah ok. Lets say its pressed very differently than the usual top border hash from marocco?

no peristalsis pressure? lol

seriously tho, the outer layer looks much different on both. or are u determining how it was pressed by another method. please share. ;)

mriko - great pics. I wish i could take those kind of breaks. did u light the snakes and smoke them? i loved doing that for the short time i had the material. :(

PEACE

I will try to explain, eventhough i am far from an expert on hashish. However I've been smoking top slaps from Marocco trough quite some years, despite my young age.

As you say your self, the surface of both chunks look very different.
When you open each chunk you can see the difference aswell, just by opserving the shape of the thricromes, while opening. The thrichromes in the "egg hash" seems smaller and tighther pressed together, while on the other hash; The thrichromes breaks up easier, and seems to be bigger and not pressed as hard (while still containing more potency than the egg hash!).

The egg hash is soft, while the other one is even softer. almost like butter on a hot summer day.

It's hard to express in words how we indentify our hash. I can sit for hours whith a chunk of hash, press it by hand, open it, smell it, put a ligther flame to it and see how it reacts, etc. It's all about personal perception. In the end, it's only the farmers in Marocco who knows the secrets of this amazing chuck of resin :joint:

sounds like loosely pressed polm to me.

Irie!

Irie, some questions.

Aren't the tightly pressed ones supposed to be stronger? In both aroma, flavour and high?

Usually when i buy loosely pressed slabs, they tend to be cheaper aswell as a worse smoke than the tight pressed stuff. This time it just wasn't so.

Maybe it's been run trough a tighter screen, in the sifting proccess?

I remember working outside Venlo about 10 years ago, every friday I would go into Venlo to score some Tbliza. It was the best hasj he had and he allways kept it in his pocket. So he would try and palm you of with some 3rd grade pollum but if you insisted and pointed to the pocket he'd eventually nod as if to say im with ya now!
Nice smoke and beautiful pictures,
im allways in awe of these hasj threads!
