I've dried inside my veg cab before. Granted it was up above the lights, but it was far from dark. I noticed the bud dried a whole lot faster and the outside tended to become crumbly dry before the inside had dried, but as for potency, I've noticed no adverse effect. Still smokes just fine.

It was a little darker than this picture, and it only had to hang for a day and a half...

get a rubbermaid that can fit under your bed, cut a hole in the top of it, and cover everything in newspaper. if you can, mount a fan on top of the hole exhausting.

alot of people put cut plants straight into grocery bags (the paper kind) after they are trimmed and just leave the top open

why cant you do that?

The amount of time it takes to dry buds indoors is not vry long, so even if dried in the light or in the dark would make a minute difference. If the buds sat in dirrect sun light or HPS light for weeks then I could see THC decreasing, but the amount of time inside is not going to make a noticable difference. So dry it in the dark or in the light. One thing to remember is the reason the dark might be the better method is not because of the light ruining THC, but because the temperature is much lower in the dark and the buds dry slower, ultimately giving you better tasting buds. If the room is cool and with light, I would say both ways are just as good.

Paper Bag!! in the cab.. then transfer to jars when almost done, the moisture will transfer back to the outside of the buds.. then jar cure like normal
