sorry to hear of your loss blaner.
I know how tough it can be losing a dog thats just become such a member of the family.
At least you know you helped give him a good lifewhile he was around
Thanks guys, miss him badly, just got back his ashes yesterday.
The wifey says no more Rotties for now, but I still have Angel and Spike
Angel is the small one, just under 3 lbs and Spike is almost 12 lbs they are both under 1 and a half years old.
Max and them were buddies, they still grieving and not eating well, they both knew him since they were pups.
Thank you so much guys, I still miss him badly but have started to regain my balance.
And to others who have lost their family member/pet, I am sorry for your loss and hope that in time you can find a new member for your family. My two Chihuahuas have been a great comfort, but they ain't no rottie
Aw man Blaner123Doobie i know how you feel.....i have lost both dogs and guinea pigs and it really hurts......
know that your animal friend had a very long life, and could not have asked for a better owner.....
there is a collection of websites called "Rainbow Bridge" that deals with all aspects of pet-loss and the grieving process......i found it helped me when i was sad.....
I have an 11 y/o brittney spaniel. He's starting to show his age,....
His front legs give out a few times a day and he hits the ground. He cant exercise for hours on end ( he plays ball whenever anyone is outside, the whole time... he shoots the tennis ball thru his back legs, with his front legs, like he's digging.. and then goes and chases it ) ... he cant exercise like that anymore.... he just gets too tired.
We're starting to let him swim 1x a week or so.. its seems good for him (he cant fall and theirs no impact on his old joints)
I know I will be devastated when I lose him... for months and months.... its gonna suck.

Just enjoy the time you have with him and make some wonderful memories.
I still feel the pain every time I look at his box(cremated and on the shelf with his leash) but I also have so many wonderful memories of him that it almost balances out the pain.
Man, I hate losing a dog, it feels like losing a child...
Just know that your dog had a good life, and that
it loved you and thought you were the best person
in the world! Hope you are left with nothing but the
good times>>>
Keep your chin up, and your eye to the sky~

What great looking pups
I appreciate your offer, but right now am looking for a large female Chihuahua to add to our family. We wanna let our male and the female we get to have one litter, everyone likes our male so much that the pups are already spoken for. He is a purebred Applehead Chihuahua, but weighs in at 12 pounds, so not easy to find a purebred his size, the standard for show is 2-6 lbs, so he is well out of standard but a great dog, the little one Angel was just fixed, she has hip displacia and we did not wanna pass that trait on.
But one day when I get a bigger place, I wanna another Rotty again, best dog I ever had
