Mr nice spice and federations hawiian offerings both look good as did a hawiian offerd by a seed co in the dam that was grown by a icmag member that posted a few pics of the strain it was very sat to.

I my self would love to see the hawiian growers offer these old gems and at the same time i would like for them to get something back for a change for there efferts few on the boards really know how much these growers in hawiia give as a lot of the giveing is done quietly.

The Moloka'i Frost is 1 strain of many they have sheard freely and it dont matter how one trys to shear things freely and there intentions are good some were down the line some one will try and make a $ from it so i would like to see the hawiians at some point offer there lines to shear so things dont get lost that are still about and at the same time they get something for there work and efferts.

I grew out some Seedsman Hawaiian Skunk a few years back. Grade A weed and the seeds were cheap as borscht. Really enjoyed having a high with no ceiling. Nice plants and very soft smoke. The taste was good and it makes people laugh a lot.

yup Molokai Frost is some of the more special stuff out there,
like Rainha Ginga said - very good taste and a very good high!
very unique high...! truely resin packed, and reeks soooo much, hard to hide it even in a jar......

Cuzin_Dave I grew out some Seedsman Hawaiian Skunk a few years back. Grade A weed and the seeds were cheap as borscht. Really enjoyed having a high with no ceiling. Nice plants and very soft smoke. The taste was good and it makes people laugh a lot.

I had 2 females from sativa seed bank pakalolo. Supposed to be a Hawaiian stabilized in Holland.. I took that to mean that it was a hawaiian crossed with afghan/nl/sk. Both plants were very big and sativa dom, 1 was hazy/tropical, the other was breadcrumbs/cheese/tropical/sk. I have the last 2 seeds going now, looking for this hazy tasty lady:




And I hit the other pakalolo with some HAZY SSH pollen. I am in the process of getting a BUNCH of these to seedbay for freebies....



All of those pix are ~ 10 wks 12/12. I know that you were lookin for 'pure' hawaiian, but I can deffo recommend these (I got em on SB in the fall for ~$15us)

I also have 2 females of Mr Nice Spice, both mostly indica. Both have an AWESOME tropical dankness to them. I am only really familiar with the 1 cut, as the other has given me some clone/re-veg issues. I have a bunch of each Spice cut @ 41 deg, and barring mold/deer/rippers, should do VERY well (plants are NICE right now)

CD, Thanks for the info. I just threw a few Hawaiian Skunk beans in a paper towel to germ. I got them as an alternate. It sounds like it'll be a nice change from the indicas I've been growing recently.

i found that site the other day as well. the kona gold caught my eye to say the least, and at $55 it might be worth a shot. i've only found one grow and smoke report on it i think because its new, but who knows.

anyone else know about or heard of these guys? better yet, anyone that has smoked or grown kg, is the description at least close?

Hey, I have a handfull of beans of what I believe is a pure Hawaiian Sativa which I've yet to grow out. I don't know if any of you are familiar with the trio Medeski Martin & Wood, but they have a song called "The Lover", which is named after this strain. It's grown by a friend of theirs in the jungles of Hawaii, and it's unlike anything I've ever smoked. It's like smoking a good day, if that makes any sense. There's absolutely no body stone, and you just feel inspired and motivated to create, with almost no crash at all. It's the perfect smoke for an experimental musician like myself, and I hope to some day grow out some of the beans and find a male to make some more so I can share the wealth! Anyone in Hawaii ever come across The Lover?

This is a Pakalolo seedplant, ~14wks since first flower. She comes down 2moro. I have some pakalolo x ssh that I'm sexing, so I'll drop off pix when they get goin.

I'm finishin up the Pakalolo x SSH's this month, and the early plants are fire. Very sweet and funky, with a lil haze effect/aftertaste/smell. 2 of 5 of the females are absolutely killer, with the longest flowering plant TBD. The best plants seem to be a short, quick funky plant (killer up high), and one that looks like the most sativa dom (SSH daddy leaning) SuperSpice (Spice x same SSH dad). She will be heavy and COVERED in resin by the time she is done.

I cracked some older seeds a few weeks back, and I found another female that I'mpretty sure is another Pakalolo. I'll get pix up 2moro. Those pakalolo seeds were a STEAL at $16.

Oh, that plant above was one of the most intense smoking plants that I've grown. Sweet catypissy haze. Smoked MUCH more sativa dom than my 12wk ssh. She ripened more quickly on the lowers, with mostly amber trichs, and those buds were still VERY strong, but a lil less focused than the 'cola'.

I was lucky enough to get a hold of the Federation HS, and HSxISS back in '03. The HS was most definitely very close to the orange haired puna stuff. The HSxISS was a monstrous yielder and had a much better high than the ISS, while still retaining the shorter growth time of 63days. The pure HS took about 86. The HSxISS was incorrectly given out as HS in the SE US as the people who had the strain were too lazy to say the full name...The pure HS had a candied lemon rind, spicy, eucalyptus flavor to it.
