Got up this morn & one of my plants has "Completely" Wilted !

Its 1 of 8 all being grown the same~ soil, nutes, lite everything !All the others look fine.

What could cause such a thing ,that would effect only 1 out of a bunch ?

Any clues?

I think I might "Cry" :1help:

Whatever

More info would really help like medium, last time repotted, where in the cycle you are, etc.

I suspect you have some kind of root rot. That is the only thing in my limited experience which will do that so quickly.

Something going on with the roots as mr bojangles said.

Could be anything from root rot to underwatering, to a low feeder with an accidental high dose of nutrients.

Pro-Mix ~ Haven't been Repotted Yet (4in. pots) Vegging 3 Weeks old From Seed.. 24 Hrs.1000 Watt HPS Hortilux lite

Whatever

Could be root cramp/root bound. If you've kept them really wet could be root rot as others have said. H202 would help with a rot issue.

Just checked the Roots, not root bound ~ But Roots look a little brown !

Gonna try the H202 ....

Last Nite They All Looked Sooo Pretty......... :violin:

Whatever

Did you pop the root ball out of the pot to inspect or did you just check the roots popping out of the drain holes? Have you been overwatering? Either way still think they would benefit from a transplant at this point. At the least give the roots some fresh medium to work with.

I had that happen once in a veg cycle and only a few weeks after a transplant while still in veg mode. Picked right up after a transplant. Was definitely a cramped root issue for me.

Popped the root ball ~No cramping (just brownish looking )

Always allow for a dry out period between waterings....

First time I've ever had this happen...

With all Growing conditions factors the same, I wonder why just 1 plant ? :chin:

There's a first for everything. Was it your most vigorous plant?

Not the most Vigorous ~
In fact it was a "Polypoid" with extra sets of leaflets,This plant had leaf sets with 15 & 17 leaflets (the others only 9 & 11 )

Maybe it was a little Retarded ?lol

If you can spare that one, I'd just pitch it. When a plant completely wilts, even once, overall yield will be reduced. Plus, at this point it has shown itself to be a weaker individual, which will make it more susceptible to disease (if it doesn't already have a disease).

In short, by keeping it around, you're risking the spread of whatever ailment it has.

Is this outdoor? If so, it could be a gopher! I've lost several to gophers, all get extremely droopy after the damn thing ate all the roots.

What did you do to treat it? H2O2 is hydrogen peroxide right?

I first "Leached" the pot
Then popped the Root Ball
Directly sprayed the roots with H202 (Hydrogen Peroxide) 1Tbs @ 3% Solution added to 1Cup Distilled water ~
Then watered the rest into the growing medium.
