i originally was feeding at 800 ppms from clone for 2 weeks...then i bumped it up to around 850 for week 3....i just started a few days ago at 1000 ppms and everything looks great....this yellowing started b4 i put my plants in
a 36 darkhour period b4 i induced flowering....this didnt occur from my new nute mix....is this underfeeding?

How long has this problem been going on? a few days now

What STRAIN are you growing? Purple MK Ultra

What was the establishing technique? (seed or clone?)clone

What is the age of your plants? 3 weeks

How Tall are the plants? 12

What PHASE (seedling, vegetative or flower) are the plants in? day 3 of flowering?

What Technique are you using? (SOG, SCROG etc) just standard let it do its own thing

What size pots are you using? (Include how many subjects to pot) one plant per 2 gallon pot.

i'm using canna coco nutes for veg and just switched to pure blend pro for flowering

What is the TDS/EC/PPM of your nutrients used? 1000

What is the pH of the "RUN-OFF"? Last I checked it was lower 5.9

What method of pH test was administered? Using Strips? pH pen? ph pen

How often are you watering?bout once every 2 days

When was your last feeding and how often are you feeding? every other day

What size bulb are you using? 3 600's

What is the distance to the canopy?well the ceiling is about 3 1/2 feet up for now but bulds hang close to plants

What is your RH Factor? (Relative Humidity)between 40% and 60%

What is the canopy temperature?about 74 degrees

What is the Day/Night Temp? (Include fluctuation range) in 24/0 so it is steady between 78 and 85 degrees, house is at 72 to 75 degrees

What is the current Air Flow? (cfm etc.) low setting

Is the fan blowing directly at plants? yes lightly

Is the grow substrate constantly wet or moist? its more wet then moist

Is your water HARD or SOFT? Not hard, so im guessing soft

What water are you using? Reverse Osmosis (RO)? RO 40 ppm

Has plant been recently pruned, cloned or pinched? yes i topped them week
one of growth

Have any pest chemicals been used? If so what and when? just neem oil a few times

Are plant's infected with pest's? No

If you are in soil, your ph is too low and you prolly have nute lockout.

At 5.9 ph runoff you shouldn't be locked out. But you are probably overwatering, should be moist ..not wet.

Coco? 5.9 is a hair low but should not be causing serious problems yet.
How far up the plant do you see those yellow leaves?
How far from the light are the yellow leaves you ARE seeing, and are they from a shaded part of the plant?

And why the heck aren't you running CalMag in RO and/or soft water, ESPECIALLY in coco, which has a nasty habit of blocking its uptake?

Hie thee to the hydro shop, sir! Return with some calmag... and a shrubbery, please! :D

i wasnt using cal mag originally because u dont need it with the canna coco nutes....but i added it with the PBP....the yellowing is from the bottom of the plant...the light is hitting every branch with ease

pirate138, I think you need a bit more experience before giving advice in the infirmary. Almost everything i've seen you post has been wrong. Please don't take that the wrong way and i don't give a shit if your a girl or black or crippled.

OSWizzle, I think your seeing a lockout. Your feeding was on the higher end as shown by your burned leaf tips. I bet you either have a lockout from to much nutes or your ph pen is off and your ph is lower than you think it is. Get some litmus strips and double check your PH.

DID you already switch to pbp? which one? Your pot seems rather big for the plant and your watering every other day? You need to let it dry out a bit as this will cause uptake problems as well.....

and yes pirate, i am a sniveling prick. Just like the real Johnny Rotten.

But i don't care what you say, stay the fuck out of the infirmary. You haven't a clue, missy.

It isn't about you or me, it's about the people with the problem and if you just want to go in threads and throw out guesses, SAVE IT. They aren't looking for guesses they are looking for experienced opinions, which you are obviously lacking.

So, in short, take this personally, i know you will, FUCK OFF!!

At least Toodles can have an intelligent discussion......

"Nobody ever listened to me until they didn't know who I was."
Hmmm, your best advice yet !!

JR got it in post#9 IMO.

-Check pH meter calibration against another source, correct if needed.
-Flush through to remove lockout condition, at correct pH to bring runoff to your target pH, and with a final flush at half strength grow fert to return NPK and micros to the soil.
-Inspect low leaves for signs of bug damage
-Only water when your pot feels light; I suggest adding extra holes in the sides of large pots to greatly improve root zone oxygenation as well, and prevent the conditions that lead to unwanted interactions among fert components and between fert components and soil
-Try adding blue spectrum light to your veg chamber to decrease internode length
