What can I foliar the clippings to help ensure, and speed up the rooting process?
Or, is it best to let them take their time? I really need to bring my 9 day rooting down to about 5 days, maybe sooner. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all.
i use a daisy cloner which i'm pretty sure is just a really small version of an ez-clone. i've noticed that certain strains root quicker than others... i generally start seeing roots in 3 days and have 4-6" roots by day 7. I grow in soil, normally I only wait for the roots to be an inch or two at most... it works best for me.
what are your temps? warmer temps bring quicker roots. also, something i haven't tried but have had suggested to me is to put your cloner on a timer where it runs for 15 minutes and shuts off for 15 minutes. lil wayne does this and has really good results.
i'm not sure of any foliars that speed up rooting. i only use plain water if they ever start looking thirsty...
With aeroponics,ez clone and the like, warmer temps will deplete the dissolved oxygen in the reservoir and damage or kill the clones. 68 to 72 degrees F is the best range. 5 to 7 days to root.
On O.G. there used to be some D.O. charts that helped, does anyone here have them archived?
IF the temperature in the ez goes above 80, even if only for a half hour, does that diminish the chance of rooting? If i were to keep the rez at exactly 70, what would the ideal pH need to be? Thanks.
