Is chemdawg considered a good yielder? I am trying to identify if this is truly chemdawg, so if anyone can give some key id comments that would be extremely useful. It was given as "chemdawg GD cut" I know there is mostly bullshit out there, but this was from the same "friend" as the og kush which turned out to be the real deal. The og was given as og kush not sfv 818 or any of the other marks commonly attatched to it from the clubs. The "chemdawg" looks to have a potential of a very good yielder, which is surprising as most of the other clones in its "class" i would consider medium to good yielders grown out nicely. Even compared to the sd ibl its yield is much more. I will try and get some pictures of it in the next week or so.

Never heard of the Chem GD....Why dont you ask your freind what the GD stand for and Where he sourced it.....The CHems you want are the "D" or the #4....Both are Decent yeiders...GOt any Pics??...~ogr

The "GD" sounds like it's a cross... but is there also a possibility that it's the original cut? I've also got an unverified "Chemdawg" but it's not D or #4 or sister... so I suspect it's either '91 or very possibly a just a renamed OGK variant.. (the smoke justifies these assumptions). Does anyone have pics or first-hand experience of the original '91 cut?

fwiw ive seen *numerous* different sours and sour crosses that are trying to be passed off as chemdog cuts with only a few here and there bein legit.

Oh, i missed that one, the gd supposedly stands for greatful dead. I am unfamiliar with the chemdawg altogether though. What i am looking for is a description of the plant and finished flowers. I will get some pictures up as soon as i can.

Also, queg, the ogk is very familiar and it is not ogk, from plant form/structure to the finish nothing alike. Is chemdawg supposed to resemble ogk in smell, looks? The look is more like a sour d plant though, more branchy, way less compact than ogk.

Could be the Chem 'Mystery' cut, also referred to as Chem DD.

Huge, frosty colas, decent smoke.

The problem is that the colas are 'spongy', so the buds end up 'airy' when dry.

thank you for the pics, very helpful, looks identical to the ones done in soil. The ones done in hydro are the ones with the enormous colas, i wouldn't say spongy though, definately not super dense like the purps, but atleast as dense as sd ibl. Can any of you describe the smell? that would be the next important thing as looks can very upon conditions. The smell is usually more true. I have searched all over this sight but anything on chem dawg is usually just a bickering match, that is why i started this thread to try and get some straight answers. How many days was that pic taken? Is there a ballpark of when chemdawg should be finishing by?

I think the GD is for the Grateful Dead cuz thats where the cut 1st made the rounds "supposedly"...from the MassSuperSkunk/Diesel peeps I've heard,but I cld be wrong.......I'd like to know some data as well as I have access to her

Let me help.
The "Chemdog GD" cut is most probably the old Chemdog '91 Clone.
(Esp. if you got it labelled that way from or on the west coast-)
"Chemdog DD" is a frequent misnomer for the Chemdog D Clone,or for "Chemdog Double-D,a Reservoir hybrid of Chem D Clone & Sour Diesel.
There's shitloads of Chemdog D Clone pics in my gallery,I don't have the '91,I never bothered,as Chemdog told me it was "worn out,beat,& tired".
I'm gonna do Chemdog #4 later this year,and see what that one looks like.
My guess: you have the '91 Cut.
Try it,see whatcha' think.

Well, i would give it a try cause this one is not worn out, its very vigorous and an exceptional yielder. The ones done in hydro came out like softballs. What i am looking for is a description of the smell and smoke to see if it matches up. How do you view the gallery, im not sure how to find it. The above picture was taken at 49 days

looks just like my 91 cut.
cant seem to upload pics but i have it at other site galleries.
the fans are huge and more indica than the others.
i think it reeks! the headband reeks too but is much more ofa bean pole in structure.

amazing how 6 months ago the 91 was nowhere to be found, not even a pic of the real cut, now ppl are popping up with it left and right.

dank buds- what exactly do you mean by decent?

coconuts- im not sure if this is the 91' it was just labled "gd cut", i think someone else on here suggested it might be the same as the 91' i really have no idea. I would like to see some more flower pics of the real deal though.
