very nice moon....keep up the good work..
A grow with some of this expression of whitefuel had a small fungas gnat explosion. They where suprisingly attracted to these clones in the garden, where they then got stuck and died lol. So much so we now refer to this expression of white fuel as "flytrap" or " aussie flytrap" lol .

This is one of the most impressive threads i have ever yet seen......i kid you not.....
I can tell that such hard work and true love for the plant has been taking place in the moonunit cannabis community......you have really created some amazing strains with all the qualities you desire......the plants have a unique look to them and are absolutely dazzling, unbelievably crystally, and smoke how you have bred them to smoke......i love the flytrap effect too hehe......
hopefully these strains will be propagated for many years to come......be sure to keep lots of seeds too!!!!!

Man, they look great moonunit.So much frost....I'm at a lost for words.
All this talk of sativas,, boy what a buzz just thinking about the old bush weed!
The fly trap looks beautiful, I bet she smokes up a storm!!,, have one similar that catches all sorts of bugs, & ants too! hehe
I remember the old earthy brown Thai , who could forget?,, you could always tell how bent your mate was by the colour of his ears, almost glowing from the blood circulation, so much radiating heat lol.
So true over the years about how the bush weed was labeled as crap & not worth a bob,, like you said earlier we can thank the commercial growers for the care factor they employed , but things have been slowly changing,,,, I have had friends claim "gee thats nice hydro", but very surprised (with some refusing to believe) when they were told its outdoor! Most of the fellas in my neck of the woods (if they dont grow) specifically ask for outdoor/bush weed, not surprisingly for all the traits that we have come to enjoy; aesthetics, aroma, taste & of course the high.
I've noticed a lot of the younger guys giving it a bash too, by that I mean growing outdoors. Recently I was away working in a secluded part of oz & was invited to a shin dig by a cpl of locals, 3 out of 5 party goers had their own weed, & not one bit of hydro in sight,, all locally grown bushy that was not to be laughed at! It was quite incredible how they had been growing the same stuff for years with no outside influence, smart buggers know what they are doing! Oh yeh, great head hi stone too, so good I brought some home with me. The best part is people are more educated these days, they know what they're looking for in a particular smoke/plant. That alone is impressive.

dreamy, can leave you staring almost in a trance. lol

Did the aborigenes cultivate herb for somking before the white settlers came? I know the autrailan government can be strict.
If the aborigenes did cultivate, do they carry on the tradition to this day?

Chiefnbud2, the aboriginies did not use cannabis. Hemp arrived with Europeans. Most of the good old Aussie genetics are probably Asian sativas.

Hi mate, u hit the nail on the head with the hyg and george w labeling in oz. Btw love the name, i remember the weed that looked somewhat similar to cannabis that grew on roadsides, called stinkinrodger by everyone.

We are all about the love of the plant and whilst we havent the space for 10k + plants for the selections and testing we sure have spent the one thing we do have, time. We documented the initial creation of these fuel lines over at the ole cw before it went byebye, after discussing male selection with alot of the knowledgable heads in the feild of genetics back then (mainly suzy cremecheese lol)

Hi m8, That old thai was so memorable, the increased bloodflow and heat in the head are a dead give away. Wish we still got the same quality, now all we get imported is the chocolate blocks come from commercial png stock ( not the png gold of old anymore), but havent seen real thai like the old days for a long time now, dammit lol. I would even take the lesser quality bush over the wet hay smellin aussie beasters( indoor gang based commercial) i have witnessed getting around, truely poor herb. You are right about the quality of the bush coming back up again too, more care to fewer plants equals quality herb from most genetics, and that seems to be a growing trend again thankfully. Its about time alot of aussie smokers let go of the " its all bud m8" mentality, good to see its starting to happen again. Herb is like fine wines, with so many qualities to appreciate and enjoy to the fullest. Anyways m8 ty for the kind words and feel free to rattle on here anytime m8, and love those pics m8, where the thai genetics sourced, here in oz? , lovely looking herbs reguardless m8.

Hi m8, yep zoidfuel lol, We put the names to the lines purely for our own reference and not marketing, so we didnt realy put to much effort in naming them, to busy breeding lol. The zoidfuel came from a clone we had for about 10 years that we found in one of our earlier crosses, it was a sport with a slight leaf mutation, and produce very reddish flowers with slight berry/ cigar aroma and taste. We called this clone the zoidberg clone, named after a matt groening character ( an alien lobster from space lol). The fuel part of the name comes from the male side of the cross, the fof3 male, as described earlier in the thread. Hence the name we use to describe this line, zoidfuel. Heck we could have called it b2, or h14 but that would have been no fun . If we release our lines publicaly they will be renamed, but untill then we just roll with what we have been using for many years, it just stuck lol. The genetic make up includes most sa asian and thai lines, but also other bits and pieces of mystery genetics sourced here in oz.Hard rain is right on the history of cannabis here in oz. The aboriginies didnt use nor cultivate cannabis here. They do now in small isolated spots and refer to it as yarni or yarndi . Alot of our genetics here in oz not only came from south east asia with immigrents and collected by surfers and hippies in their travels starting in the 50-60s, but also much earlier, brought to australia by chinese imigrent workers and before that, as hard rain stated as hemp with the first europeans ( mostly non drug lines though). The chinese workers brought with them many different seeds to sow and use. They would de seed the herb they grew localy and throw the excess seed or an alotted ammount into the river systems. Wild populations showed up all up and down the east coast and after many years of natural inbreeding and outcrossing with a few feral hemp populations left from earliy euopeans, in a new and extremely fertile enviroment ( mostly river bank populations to begin with) , they evolved very quickly into unique lines , due to australias funky enviromental pressures. Abc, dizzy and a few other funky mutant lines came of these populations ( after 50+ gens/years in our enviroment) . Then in the 50-60s the surfers and hippies ( mostly the surfers) brought back the se asian genetics, which in turn ended up outcrossing to the earlier wild chinese x hemp populations over time. I did a more in depth history of cannabis in australia many years ago in a thread on the old cw site, but it was in some one elses thread that got deleted due to flaming in it by others.

Those balls maybe rabbit droppings or kangaroo turds. stick that in your pipe and moke it.
hi blackone, those balls were so nice 25u sat bubble, the sats i have found tend to drop their finest gland heads into the bags between the 73u and 25u. Its also by far the biggest yeild in that range using the sativa materials. We have always payed very close attention to the tric field and can state through our own experience that sats tend to have much smaller tric heads, makes it harder to get those sweet close up shots lol, u will notice in the fly trap shots the size ratio between the pistals ( hairs) and the trics. The pistals are monsterous compaired to the trics.

i agree on the trichs from the sativas here ,, usually we get the most in the 45 micron bag , sometimes twice the amount than from any other bag ...
