The Highest price in this area: 122.9p 135.9p 129.9

Thats per litre in central England. (double it for dollars)

Then just remember when you turn the litre into gallons: 1 UK Gallon= 4.546 litres and 1 US Gallon= 3.785 litres. So the price difference is not as big as it first seems. Still quite a difference tho.

perhaps, me thinks the situation is not as bad as it first appeared for U.S. . . . hmmm

now if we can get the troops home, Bush & Republicans OUT, Wall Street UP, Weed decriminalized everywhere, my depression turned around, and the wildfires put out, we'll be okay! :violin:

South-west Oregon: $4.30 for regular unleaded, $5.00 for Diesel, Gasoline has been holding steady for weeks here, but I'm not holding my breath.....

Keep in mind fellas that the US economy depends on many workers that may need to drive 20-100 miles or more to work per day, rising gas prices are a shock for workers that need to commute. Also consider that trains are not as widely used here as in Europe(a mistake on the US part), so most of our economy depends on Diesel driven trucks to transport anything and everything.

So rising gas prices are compounded by other closely related problems......

Central valley North Calif. ---$4.47 regular unleaded, Arco Am/Pm

Remember the Federal Highway Act(USA) was passed in 1956, so in 50 plus years of nationwide use the automobile has risen & fallen.
What a waste.
