promix is the best thing i have ever bought as far as growing goes.. i always heard people talk about it. and how good it was.. and i was skeptical, as anyone would be, but i was at a local agway and asked about it, and they had it so i bought a bale. i think its the bx version. (the one agway sells is not REAL promix its immitation store brand but the same thing none the less. the kid put the bale in my car and i had to go back in and ask if it was the right stuff.. he explained to me that, it was their relabled stuff and its 99 percent the same thing. which is fine with me.. i was worried about the ph factor and so far i havent had a problem. my well water is 6.5-6.8 out of the tap. and gets slightly lower with CNS-17 nutes, perfect 6.4-6.7 ph. they are one part everything you need with added chelates and micros. so far everything is going great. i feed half strength with every water, and my plants have never looked better.. (except when i had my DWC dialed in for those 2 weeks b4 it crashed). i would reccomend giving it a try.. if i can help it im never going back to DIRT. :spank: and not to mention the bale is huge... filled up a 55 gall rubbermaid. just about 2 times. i bought it for, 35 bucks i think... which if i had bought that much soil. would have been about the same price.. and this stuff is like.. oodles of tons better. K++++ for promix. :rasta:

ps raist: the casing i did in the turkey pan seems to be catching, promix and verm, looks like its going to work nice for a casing. as long as i can avoid the dreaded cobweb mold ill be in business soon. with some killer pics for ya, these boomers should be freakin awesome being that they are over 7 mos old. i cant wait for my tickets to the magical ride.!!!! weeeeeeee :jump:

as for the cab: i removed the armed widow,(over75 days) and the geisha,(over75 days) and 2 dsd in .5 gal (67 days) gonna give the kc brazil another 4-5 or so days shes still putting out some white hairs but that will take her about 80 which i have never done b4. probably cuase of the heat stress. still waitin on the bastard kush, thats at 70 days or so as well.
i jus removed them from the cab didnt cut them yet. i got some trimmin to do tonight though.

and i have almost a half grocery bag full of trim, so after the kc is pulled and trimmed its time to make some good ole cannabutter for some cookies and brownies. edibles are my favorite.

have good mosh pitting!!

from no mercy site:
Double Fun: (Sativa/Indica 25/75%...Citral X Dr. Weedman)
Citral was added in 1993 as a clone and as seed to the Library of the Positronics Fan Club. This happened with the original variety and cannot be compared with the Citral that appeared later in the market. At first the plant was very popular for indoor use until it was discovered how well suited it was for outdoor growing.
An early flowering Dr. Weed Man was crossbred with a Citral female carefully selected from seeds. The resulting seeds were then bred to original Citral mother clones which eventually developed into a new species that was stable and fungi resistant. Double fun is a strong psychoactive product that always works and will never bore you! A highly stable variety, very well suitable for both indoor and outdoor growing. Sativa/Indica25/75%
Looks: Fat buds with white hairs. Smell: Specific, lemon-like smell.
Taste: Sweet, friendly and authentic.
Yield outdoors: 250-500gram. Yield indoors: 350-500 gram/m2
Flower time indoors: 60 days harvest time outdoors: beginning of October.
Growth traits: Frost-and-fungi-resistant. Effect traits: strong, psychoactive.

well thats the geisha.. i did a really shitty job. i know this.. but she will get another run in the future.. or maybe i just got a not so great cut.. the high is nice.. took forever to finish and the yield was not awesome, again probably cuase of the .5 gal container. i might just run her outside next season.. and see how she does.. i bet you shes a killer!!!

dont even know if you guys can see that, uploads are all fudged up right now...

MOds get on it.

the new rules around here!!!

the new rules around here!!!

so i was bored out of my mind last week, and i decided to declare martial law in my vegg box. i am kinda annoyed by the yeild of my finished plants, and even though its partially my fault for not properly training them.. the time has come. so i went to work. and medium stress trained. low stress would be bending them a little and high stress would be breaking limbs and shit... not my plan.. however... it was my plan to train each and every branch around the rim of the .5 gals. and a few minutes and some paperclips later.. viola! the paper clips are great cause they latch onto the sides of the container. and dont come undone. this is only a few of them, but i did this proceedure to all 8-9 of them.. and all the clones from now on will be trained like this from the start.. im hoping it gives me more main tops and less stretch. they are going to vegg till i can take 1 cut from each of them and toss them into flower.. and start a new.. kind of perpetual mother system. ill take some pics when they start to grow up again...

armed widow

double straw dies

some armed widow nuggage that i harvested last week or so ago.

Looking good Bro. It's hard to tell in the pix, but once the LST'd ones start to bush out, you're going to need a bit of space for air flow between the plants and the soil. Otherwise you're going to get mold down there. Nice buds :rasta:

thanks for the advise vin. ill keep an eye on that. :joint:

HAPS and CHUBBY thanks for the compliments on my little garden. keeps me sane and out of trouble. nothing big .. but enough to keep me occupied.. theres always something little that can be done.. i love that.

so i woke up this morning to a wonderful suprise!!!
these were in jars for over 7 months.. i cant belive that they actually produced anything. they are probably small because they are so small.

few that were ready to pluck

my liquid culture was a success and i should have more boomers. with a few more weeks....

finally... some results of the training already starting to show...maybe im being a bit hasty but im going to transplant this to a bigger pot and keep her tied down. and toss her into flower... in about a week. my goal is to keep them really short. and seeing that the last dsd stretched considerably in a bigger pot.. might be a good idea to try it at a lower height first..

stay safe,

double fun crosses are still on the agenda... the male is in a bit of stasis, has not grown at all in the last 2 weeks. so as soon as i know hes ok.. let the pollen fly. i think when the clone was taken, it had just barly started to flower... so its probably reverting back to vegg.

on the downside... my last nug of SD smoked and gone... :joint:
