wattup raist congrads on the delivery.
respect to access your a good dude.
ok rais ur pump is different then mine too yo.i also think that extra piece is a extender piece to raise the water sprayers.
fill it and see if its sprayin good if it is fill her up and watch the show ur gonna be so happy with this thing.
yeah bro the sticky fishtank thermomater things will work perfect thats what i have on mine.maybe you dont need the filter with urs.or it might be tucked away in the box somewhere.it looks like it'd be a lil square thing for urs.
when i first got mine and put it together the pump wasnt workin i took the front screws out and a little teeny tiny piece of plastic fell out ,i put it back together and boom been workin fine ever since.i did call them though and ask a few questions thier peeps said that if just a tiny little piece of debree gets in there it can stop the propeller thing from turnin cause its not spinnin at a hugh speed.they basicly told me to do what i did if anything ever happens like that.just a tip yo.
now get out there and win the cloning wars pimp!

chit bro as soon as i knew it was all hooked up properly
i had it in the shower spraying everywhere :muahaha:
its got a temp strip on the side as well
no filter on the inside either, i took everything apart and checked it
i am probably gonna hand fashion one myself before the clones go in

----------all the EZ excitement i forgot to mention i got my zippers :jump:

only things i can bitch about today are i ran out of duct tape, and i gots no herb to smoke on :badday:
but i get tape tommorow and i have pleanty 'o buddage in a few months :joint:

That's a better close up. I'm fairly convinced now that you have no need for a filter. And I wouldn't add anything to what already exists...it could impact the intake of water and burn out the motor. The second of the two pictures above show the pump opened with the impeller exposed...you have a "grate" (like a pool filter) that apparently fits over it as depicted in the first picture. It looks like it's actually a superior design.

And you say you tried to screw the do-hickey into pretty much everything....
Does the coupling mechanism that connects the pump and water dispersion unit come apart or unscrew to allow you to put the do-hickey in the middle? Maybe it is an extender as was suggested above.

I'd be curious to see how the pump connects to the water disperser.

My pump doesn't even have "suction" feet on the bottom....it moves freely about within the constraints of the small square on the base of the cloner.

Very odd...but I betcha' it'll all works as intended.

Edit: Aha...I see you slipped in a post while I was rambling on....
Don't bother creating a filter, as I mentioned above....it could screw the works up. We'll doublecheck with the EZ cloner people (either you or I)

Don't go out of your way, but I wouldn't mind seeing some pictures of the inside of the cloner from a few vantage points, with the pump attached to the squirty thing....

yes it comes apart, and no it does not fit there either :joint:

i'll be back with a pic of

yeah i thought of that too, i will let it go unless something gets in there

The only thing you have to worry about getting in there is "root" material. Hopefull you won't let stuff grow so long in there that roots are growing into the filter. I know I've done that...and that's why my filter looks so crappy. I pulled it off once and there were roots growing all the way into the center of it....(lazy me). The EZ Cloner people always advise you never leave plants growing vegatively in it....which is exactly what I did.

i won't let the roots grow down :bashhead:
i'll always have that in the back of my mind now that you brought it up

first the pump from a diff angle

now the odd piece screwed the only place it fits

but look at the size diff here from the piece that fits the manifold

and how it fits together

i am stumped :dueling: LOL, but it works

That 4th picture down. With the "do-hickey" next to the coupling. I know we're beating a dead horse with this:beat-dead....but I'm wondering if the "thing-a-ma-bob" fits right where those two square plates on the coupling are...if it in fact unscrews. It may just be like a "telescopic" attachment. I'm a bit non-commital because I was anticipating you'd need a filter. What I can say with 100% certainty now is that you DON'T need one. (DO NOT ADD FILTER MATERIAL) That's the way that particular pump is designed. As a matter of fact, it appears that the little slide bar in the middle of the grating can be turned clockwise or counter-clockwise to change the amount of water intake. That's the way my pump works on my ebb and flow setup.
When your roots grow long and plentiful.....you won't have much of an issue with that.....but with the type of pump that's on my EZ Cloner...it's not so good. That's probably why they changed up the pump.

The IMPORTANT thing is that you've got it working.......as long as water droplets are being showered upwards at the neoprene caps...and basically drenching the top of the lid underneath....you're going to develop some large amounts of spaghetti. You'll see some clones take 3 days to root....others a week....sometimes 2 weeks and even 3 for some. Sometimes unfortunately, in spite of everyone's best efforts...some clones just don't root....even given all the technology. But I can pretty much guarantee that you've got it going on NOW!

The only thing that's bothering me is that extra piece. You should have extra neoprene caps left over, but not that do-hickey/thingamabob. I dunno what the hell it is if it doesn't couple or attach anywhere. Do yourself a fav. and contact EZ if/when you get the chance.

And so ends the Clone wars....for a New Hope.

they dont unscrew but they unsnap kinda and i already tried that too :rasta:

yep that how it works, i'll not add any filter then

i have 5 neoprene caps left over and a few red spout thingies as well
i'll kick EZ a e-mail on the morrow or there soon after with a pic and see WTF is up
probably just threw it in there to mess with us stoners :muahaha:

anywho it's late enough and i am tired as i could be
