Thanks to all for your great posts. I plan to get back to you all and idividually reply to all of your posts just as I always do.
I just had a brand new baby girl!!! and I'm basking in the glory of the new life I helped create.I'm sure I'll be busy (and tired) for the next little while, but I'll update where I can

WOW congrats on the birth of your daughter!
I just skimmed through this entire thread and now I feel silly posting about cannabis growing, but what the heck.
I am going to try that bubble-wrap type insulation in my next cab, I bet a few layers might muffle fan noise a bit. Also I too have used CD spindles as humidity domes lol.
My bud-size/growing philosphy is pretty much opposite yours, but you get some awesome looking results.

Canabis is still what we do here. Was just taking a break to smoke a celebratory cigar filled with Widow
Reflectex is what that shtuff is called. I got it at Home Depot myself. Seems pretty common. Works well. I'm sure it will definately aide in noise reduction.
I see I wasn't the first with the humidity dome DVD/CD spindle. Didn't work well for me anyhow.
