Best Cali Medicine Currently

Hey all of you Californians out there, what's good? I recently found out about a cousin that I have near me now and we got to talking and I found out that she gets stuff from Cali all the time. What should I tell her is the best medicine out there for her? She is in pain recently due to torn nerves in her arm and a broken arm so potency and pain relief are a must. Secondly, what is the opposite of that and the best sativa to do work on while being medicated(energetic, happy, warm, cerebral)? I figured I would just tell her to get bubba and og and she should be good but I want a second opinion from people in the area. I'm a big kush and haze fan, she is as well. The stonier the better, the more high soaring roaring sativa the better. Thanks all I appreciate all your help in my quest to ease my cousins pain.[/QUOT

So happy is now medical? I GUESS you could make a case for energetic, warm and cerebral as medical but I guarantee you the "other side" would look at this as just another stoner looking to get high.

Funny, but when I go to my regular Doc and he prescribes me regular pharms for my condition, the first thought in my mind is not what med will make me "happy", it's what will ease my symptoms.

And no, being unhappy is not a symptom, it's just called life.

and after losing 1 great uncle, 1 father & 2 1st cousins to suicide all I can say is I hope you dont find out the hard way the true & harsh reality that mental anguish can take away someone you love

They all had the VERY BEST medical care (3 surgeon, 2 MD in the family)
unfortunately the american pharamcuticals for mental health are true posions and nothing legally at their disposal helped.

I pray people understand the gravity behind mental illness, its ramifiations on the health of the individual and the community and the relief marijuana can provide to those who suffer.

You mis-construed what I was trying to say.

MJ is first and foremost a psychoactive drug. Yes it can ease nausea, relax muscles, and a host of other physical attributes but it is first and foremost a drug that changes one's mind. I liken pot more to other psychoactive drugs than to other drugs that merely affect the physical body.

So obviously MJ is a great tool for depression, which I happen to suffer severly from (basically bipolar, anxiety).
I find MJ to be the best anti-depressant ever, that's why I'm on this forum and not over at prozac.com (lol).

But my beef with the OP was that he said he wanted to use MMj just to get happy.
Well if you are not happy and suffering from depression then getting happy would certanly be considered medical because you are trying to cure your symptoms of a disease.

BUT if you are a normal person and just want to get happy to feel good then that is a grey area of crossing from medical into RECREATIONAL which is what I thought the OP was talking about.

Basically I thought he wanted to get happy in a recreational sense yet hide behind a MEDICAL moniker just to avoid the law and that's what makes me angry because when people do that it makes us who truly suffer look bad because society gets the impression that everyone just wants to get high and happy and society believes that only a small percentage of the population suffers from mental illness so by deduction they then believe the VAST (like 80-90%) majority of MMJ users are really just recreatonal users hiding behind the cloak of 215. The funny thing is all these fakers have to lose in CA is $100 fine for possession so it's pretty absurd they would go to all the trouble of being a faker.

The great thing about my MJ doctor is he does care whether im happy or not. Why must we be stuck back in that old mold. My doctor is alive and treats me as if im alive. Yes he cares if im happy and its part of his consideration when he treats me.

I was trying to make a distinction between people with an organic brain disorder such as severe depression over people who were merely "unsatisfied" with life in general and just wanted to feel good.

Maybe it's the drug addict in me but I don't know (or couldn't comprehend) anyone who is generaly happy with life and the way the world is.
I guess that's just my underlying depression also breaking thru.

I'm just kind of disappointed you wanted to flame me so bad that you had to pick out the slightest little detail and read way too far into it. This medicine is not for me, it is for my cousin. She is the one who is having massive amounts of problems right now. She definitely qualifies as a med patient in her situation. Personally I prefer lethargic, creeper type highs that I can just veg out on. I don't find my way to that many pure sativas so I was just trying to find the most uplifting high with pleasant thoughts. Nothing more Nothing less. To everyone else we will see how this goes in a week or two when the stock comes in.

Just find the best one for your current situation and what makes you feel the best.

Hey again everybody. Just a little update. Went to see how my cousin was doing and she is very well. Medicine is doing its job perfectly. She got quite a few things and the variety is top notch for her needs. She was kind enough to show me what she got and I was floored by the quality. GDP, An unnamed kush that is fantastic, and OGK!
