I bet it looks like complete crap and most of the potency is probably long gone.

37 years old ? That would make it from 1971.

I remember watching some documentaries and they showed people from the 60's and 70's rolling some joints, and to be honest the weed that they had looked not too great, lol. I'm sure there was some ok weed from back then, I just have never seen any pictures of any good weed from back then. It may have smoked alright, but it looks like stuff that nobody would want to buy today. Zero bag appeal, lol. At least in the pictures and films that I've seen.

:joint:

The dumbass police should probably measure the THC content in that old weed, and then some dumbass newspaper can make a new headline and claim that weed today is 739 times more potent, deadly and dangerous than before, lol.

Only a true dope or a complete asshat would choose to call weed dope. Dope has always been associated with harder stuff, and anybody attempting to equate marijuana with some of that other stuff has an agenda, and it's probably not a very good one.

Hello all,

Oh I don't know about that friend. I have been calling mj all sorts of things in the 33 years I have been consuming mj.

I find your statement rather close minded and rather presumptious that I would have an agenda.

I have been calling pot dope since way before it was fashionable to not call it dope.

Dope has a general definition as a substance that produces euphoria. I feel safe to say that mj gives me a euphoric feeling.

So, your statement is in fact erronious and inflamatory. So much so that I felt compelled to document them here.

As to finding 37yo pot...I think I would rather toss it as it might just leave you with a headache. But I would try it first just to be sure.

EDIT:

For those who would disagree, I pulled these from the online dictionaries. If you all feel that I and the dictionaries are wrong, perhaps you could bring the matter of definition up with them as they strive to as accurate as possible.

greetings minds_I :)

actually, greenhead makes a point...

dope usually refers to harddrugs like crack, cocaine and heroin, this is so at least in afro-american communities/projects in the U.S. there when people say dope, they do not mean cannabis.

Among items in the safe were a green diary with a peace symbol drawn on its front, a cup containing a collection of small bags of marijuana, a few rolled joints, several matchboxes and small manila envelopes containing more marijuana with accompanying written materials, some drafted by officers and others by witnesses.

"I'm a little disappointed that we didn't find a lot of history. We found a lot of dope," Barrett said.

So... if they didnt find history... 'dope' must be the future.... :rasta: :rasta:

What an awesome find, too bad it still is considered
unlawful as the safe's contents would make an excellent
eBay auction item. Very cool indeed.
