Spoil and Coco

Anybody here mixing soil with coco? If so, hows' it working out?
I'm gonna have a boat load of used coco by the end of the summer and i'm thinking of doing a pretty big outdoor run in the fall (i live in florida).
I'm talking about 50 plants, so straight coco is way too labor intensive.
What soil/coco ratio would work best?
Any input would be much appreciated :joint:

A buddy of mine is mixing in coco for drainage. He is growing in a swampy area. He builds mounds, mixes in the coco/bone/blood/castings/dolomite, then plants. I decided against it for my spots, because it drains QUICK, and I can't get out to water as much as I should...

It also breaks down acidic with heavy sunlight over time. May be good in florida with some good topsoil.

I use 1/3 soil 1/3 coco perlite and 1/3 coco. (with Organic liquid Ferts) Works great for me.

I 've also tried 50%Coco - 35%soil - 15%perlite Worked great too.I wouldnt go over 50% coco myself , but you could if you wanted.

My tomatoes are in 1/2 soil, 1/2 coco. So far, so good. I'm beating the bejesus out of my neighbor's tomato plants, but that's not really new. :)

As for cannabis, I'm 100% coco E&F and will be for the rest of my life unless they come up with something better down the road.

slappyjack-Funny you mention tomatoes. I put one of my wifes' tomato plants in a 50/50 mix of soil and coco and all is well. More than well, actually. The thing is growing ridiculously fast!

I'm hearing all this great stuff about coco.

I have 2.5 ft tall girls vegging outdoors in 10 gallon bags. When I transfer them to the 18 gallon buckets, you think I can put them in a soil/coco mix? Or would the shift in nutrient delivery be too much for plants that big?
